"Director Fury."
Nick looked up at the agent in his doorway. "Who are you?"
"Agent Harry Ingleman, sir. Level 6."
Nick leaned back in his chair. "Come in."
Agent Ingleman stepped forward. "Sir, we were doing a routine check up on those on SHIELD's watch list. We couldn't find two of them." He put two files on Nick's desk. "Perseus and Ariadne Jackson, twins who recently turned eighteen. They're on the watch list because, ah, they have an aura of destruction. Bad things happen to them."
Nick raised an eyebrow. "And that got them on our watch list?"
Agent Ingleman nodded towards the files. "Read their files, sir. I think it'll help you better comprehend exactly how bad it is that these two have gone missing."
"Perseus... wasn't he a hero in Greek mythology?" Nick thought aloud, reaching for the files.
"Yes, sir. And Ariadne guided Theseus through the Labyrinth so he could slay the Minotaur."
"Their parents must have been Greek mythology fans," Nick said. "Dismissed."

"Let me get this straight," said Steve.
"Nothing about you is straight," Bucky, his boyfriend, snickered. He caught the glare Steve sent his way. "Sorry. Bad timing."
"Let me get this straight," Steve began again. "You're sending us after a couple of teenagers?"
Fury just nodded.
"They're eighteen, Steve," Natasha reminded him. (Just so you know: this story will follow an alternate storyline I wish the movies had taken bc I ship Clintasha, where Laura is Clint's sister. If you want a more in depth explanation, feel free to DM me.) "They're not teenagers."
"Eighteen," Bruce repeated. "And they're an Avengers level threat?"
Fury held out the files. "I think these will explain a lot. It's less about what we know about them, more about what we don't know, which is too much for my taste. All we know is that they're dangerous. Disaster follows them wherever they go. And I'm not asking everyone to go. Maybe six of you."
"Okay," Tony said, pouring himself another mug of coffee. "Me, Rhodey and Pete can go after Perseus."
Peter made a surprised noise. "Me? But-"
"You're a superhero, kid. It'll be good training. This doesn't seem too dangerous for you."
Peter grinned. "Okay, Mr Stark."
"I'm not going," Rhodey said. "I've got jury duty, and I've already dodged it once because the offendent Blipped."
"You're an Avenger," Sam reminded him. "Jury duty? Seriously?"
Rhodey just shrugged.
"Okay, so me, you, and Peter go after Perseus, and Steve, Sam, and Bucky can go after Ariadne," Natasha decided.
Sam grinned. "Sounds fun. As long as I don't have to room with Sir Steals-Steering-Wheels over here, I'm good."
Wanda raised her hand. "I'll go with someone. It sounds kinda fun. Can I go after Ariadne?" Tony nodded, and she grinned.
"Cool, so we've got teams," Natasha said. "We'll leave Saturday. Peter, Tony, you and I need to read Perseus's file, and Sam, Steve, Bucky, Wanda, you'll have to read Ariadne's."

Sally was the mother of two powerful demigods. She was used to weird. After all, most moms didn't have to scold their children for breaking china with a spear or have to clean out wounds after battles. However, seven Avengers at her door was a new one.
"May we come in?" Captain America asked politely. Sally just nodded and stepped aside.
"We're looking for your kids, Perseus and Ariadne," Tony Stark said. He was the only one not wearing his armor, probably because everyone knew he was Iron Man and his suit was nanotech, so he could put it on in an instant. He was joined by Black Widow, Winter Soldier, Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, and of course, Captain America.
"They go by Percy and Aria," said Paul, who sat on the couch, staring awestruck at the superheroes.
"Do you know where they are?" Spider-Man asked. His voice suggested he was a little younger than the twins. "SHIELD's looking for them."
Sally hesitated, exchanging glances with Paul. "Percy's in California," she offered. "I- I don't know where Aria is. I almost never do." Her daughter's vigilante life kept her constantly on the run.
"Where in California?" Falcon asked.
"Near Berkeley. We can't give you any more information," Paul said apologetically.
Captain America smiled. "That'll be enough. Thank you."

Qibli was a demigod. He thought he was used to weird. But he had to admit, four Avengers crashing his date was a new one.
Falcon, Winter Soldier, Captain America, and Scarlet Witch traipsed up the beach to the picnic blanket Moon and Qibli had spread on the sand. He knew the barrier didn't extend to the edge of the island, but nobody came up here anyway, let alone the Avengers.
"We're looking for Delphi Strawberry Services," Winter Soldier ordered without preamble.
He and Moon glanced at each other, panicky. Nobody ever looked for Delphi Strawberry Services. There wasn't even a premade cover story for this.
"Why?" Moon asked. "Is there someone in particular you need?" She was stalling. Good idea.
"Aria Jackson. She used to work here during the summers."
Qibli scoffed. "Good luck finding her. Nobody ever knows where she is, not even her brother."
Falcon nodded cockily. "We'll find her."
Moon shook her head. "No, you won't. Not if she doesn't want to be found."

Aria accepted the mug from Reyna and took a sip. Reyna made a badass cup of cocoa. The girls curled on a pile of pillows with the dogs, exhausted. They'd finally managed to get a little girl to Camp Half-Blood after six days of keeping her from wandering away, and now they were finally alone.
"I'm too tired to even make out with you," Aria muttered bitterly. Reyna laughed and kissed her temple.
The peaceful silence was broken by Qibli's voice from outside. "Uh, guys?"
Aria groaned and stood up, sticking her head out of the tent. "What?"
He stood nervously under a tree. They'd be gone in the morning, but Chiron made them set up their tent by Zeus's Fist for the night. "Four of the Avengers are looking for you, Aria."
