Gwen takes a liking towards Hermione, she loves how smart and witty she is, how she stands up for herself in front of Draco, the two are good friends, Hermione often persuading Gwen to stay clear of forbidden spells.

Gwen is an intelligent member of the Ravenclaw house, she was brought up to respect those around her and grew up along side the Malfoy family due to their status.
