(Colbys POV)

I wake up to hear a noise. My alarm. I smash my hand on it making the annoying sound stop.

"Mm." I groan.

I rip the blankets off my body as i get up and travel to the bathroom, washing my face off.

I take a big yawn as i stretch my arms and rub my face once more.

I start taking my shirt off, but by the time it was off the door swings open.

"Colby!-" Sam starts.

"Oh shit, uh sorry."

I throw my shirt across the bathroom floor.

"Its fine. Whats up?" i exclaim.

"Well, i was going to ask if your doing laundry but looks like im doing it today."

I laugh, then stop realizing a mark on Sam.

"Sam are you okay?" I pull him closer to me looking at his face as the mark was placed right on his lips.

We stare at each others eyes before Sam responds.

"What do you mean? Im fine." Sam says.

"No your not, you have a mark on your lips." I press my finger against his lips rubbing them.

Sam touches his lips and then turns to the bathroom mirror.

"Holy shit." Sam starts trying to rub it off.

"Sam, its obviously not coming off."

"What do i do?" He asks.

"I don't know, we'll figure this out after i'm done showering, i just woke up."

Sam says okay and leaves right away. I take a breath in trying to think of what this mark could be.

"Why would the mark be on his lips anyways?" I whisper to myself in confusion as i take off my clothes off to hop in my shower.

I turn the shower on letting the warm water hit my body.

I wrap a towel around my wet body, grabbing another towel to dry my hair as i turn the shower off.

I look at myself in the mirror and noticing the same mark Sam has. Placed exactly in the same spot as his.

"Are you fucking kidding me." I yell in the mirror.

"I need to find out what these marks mean." I start to get dressed.

I run down the stairs to meet Sam.

"Sam, theres a problem."

"What- oh my god, you have the mark too?"

"Yeah, we need to find out what they mean." I sit down beside him.

We search and search through youtube and google, trying to look for a solution.

"I found it!" Sam says.

"Really?"

"I found my socks! ive been looking everywhere for thes-"

I smacked his arm.

"Uh, Ow?" He says holding hus arm.

"Stop playing around we need to actually find out what these marks are!"

"I found it!" Sam says again.

"Stop joking around we need to focu-"

"No! i actually found it this time!"

"The marks are called "Soulmates" wherever they touch you is where the mark is. there are three types of marks. A red one, a yellow one, and a green one. The red ones are usually placed around your torso area and down, meaning that you were getting a little "freaky" or "dirty" with your Soulmate. A green mark is placed around your neck and stomach, meaning they didnt actually love you and were using you for a one night stand, and the yellow mark is the one we have, its placed around your lips to your arms and to your hair, and this means.. that its a romantic touch and you are supposed to be with the person who touched you forever." Sam explains.

"So.. does this mean our 'Soulmates' kissed us?" I say.

"Maybe, but im with Kat, the first place she touched me was not my lips.."

"Then that means shes not your true soulmate.." I replied.

"But then who is?" Sam gets up and starts pacing.

I get up and hold him, "Sam, relax. We don't know. And i don't think you've kissed anyone you've just met lately."

"But who could be yours?" Sam lays his head againts my chest.

"Shit. I forgot about that." I run my hands through his hair.

"We need to figure this out. fast." Sam says.
