After my husband's funeral and seeing friends it was quiet around the house again that's when reality hit he really wasn't coming back. Summer was so strong she even stood up saying a few words of all the fun times they had and how much he is going to be missed in her life I tried to hold back the tears but I couldn't. 2 weeks later I found out Keri didn't have a Will and his checks from the army only got us by for a couple of weeks, and we were losing our house, this is a pain I wouldn't want my worst enemy to feel.
Summer: Good Morning mom
Toni: Good Morning baby are you ready for school?
Summer: Yes I just need to find my ID
Toni: Ok ( sipping a cup of coffee)
Summer: I'm ready, I don't want to be late the principal says if I'm late one more time I'm going to be suspended
Toni: What? I will talk to him about it later to see what can I do
Toni and Summer leave for School making it just in time before the bell rings
Summer: Bye Mom
Toni: Love You see you later and don't forget I'm working late tonight
Summer: I won't, love you too
Toni drives off returning home to clean up and get a quick nap in before work, after 3hrs Toni wakes up after her alarm goes off showering, puting on her uniform heading out the door for work ________________________________________

Brian: Jake I need a transcript of last week sales on TLC and Outkast, please
Jake: Ok I will have them ready for view by the end of the day

After making phone calls to other record labels and working out paperwork, he realized it was 12:00am and needed some coffee when he sees the janitor using the phone
" Hey I'm just checking on you, are you ok? Ok good, did you eat something? Ok good I love you and I will see you in the morning"
Brian: ( Clears Throat)
Toni; Oh I'm sorry I was just checking on my daughter
Brian: Ok I will allow you to call her and only her but that's it if I catch you doing anything else you're fired
Toni: Wait, allow? How are you to tell me when I can use this phone, what? You're probably just a worker that likes to snitch on your computer work like a little snitch bitch
Brian: No I'm not one of those people I'm just trying to keep you out of trouble, I'm one of the nice ones here
Toni: Yea I'm sure you are, don't worry I will be fine, I don't need you telling Mister on me cause you saw the colored girl using the phone
Brian: ( sips coffee, chuckles) is that what you think?huh wow
Toni rolls her eyes getting back to work as Brian goes back to his office as well, shortly after Toni comes in with cleaning cart
Toni: Oh I'm sorry I didn't know you were still here I will just leave
Brian: No it's ok to go ahead pretend I'm not here
Toni: Ok ( starts to sing to herself)
Brian starts to notice her singing but thinks nothing of it as he exhales from stress
Brain: What are you listening to?
Toni: Oh this I was listening to Anita Baker Sweet Love I didn't mean to disturb you
Brian: (Stretching his neck) it's ok I need a break anyway ( yawns)
Toni: No what you need to do is go home and get some rest you look tired
Brian: I am but this has to get finished tonight
Toni: Well let me help you relieve some of your tension
Brian: What? No, it's ok I'm fine
Toni: Trust me it will help you relax I promise I'm not trying to make any moves on you, lol I don't want you to sue me for making any sexual advances
Brain: Ok what do I need to do
Toni: Place your feet under your desk, sit up straight for me
Toni rubs lotion from bath and body works on her hand then starts to massage Brians neck and shoulders in a circular motion, finally getting him to relax
Brian: Wow you are good, thank you
Toni: Your welcome and thanks to bath and body works stress relief lotion you are now a little less stress-free
Brian picks up Toni's iPod to look at her playlist
Brian: Wow so I see you like a lot of hip hop and R&B music
Toni: Mostly R&B I just add a hip hop in there to have a balance
Brian; You have a lot of legends here Whitney, Chaka, Anita, Aretha, Patti, etc...
Toni; Yea I like music, so much I was going to become a music teacher but when you have parents that except you to be a doctor or something in the medical field you try to please everyone but then life happens and I had to find something else instead
Brian: I'm sure you would have been a great music teacher
Toni: Thanks but those days are long gone, I have to get back to work, you can keep the iPod I will pick it up later ( walking out of his office ) oh and sorry about earlier I have been going through a lot lately
Brian: All is forgiven
Brian smiles to himself, and continue working until he was ready to go home. After coming home and realizing Hailey wasn't there he eats some leftover Chinese Food, shower and getting into bed but laid there thinking about the interaction between him and Toni.
Soon after Toni arrives home peaking in on Summer before taking a long hot shower and eating some Oatmeal, before laying down drifting off to sleep.
