I look over at the who said that. A maid was standing next to me, staring at me. I scratch the back of my neck as I slip into headquarters and shut the door behind me
''What is happening here..?''
I was lost in my thoughts that I didnt notice Naru in front of me
''Hey. Y/n. Y/n? Are you listening?'' Naru says as he waves his hand in front of my face
''Huh? Oh sorry....d-did you need something?'' I say as I look up at his handsome face
''Yes actually, I'm going back to go look around more. You can come if you wish, I actually prefer you to go but if you need time after the mine I understand.'' He says as he looks into my eyes
''I-I'll tag along..'' I say as I get mesmerized by his eyes
''I do not think that's a good idea.'' Masako says, quickly bringing me back from reality
''I agree! You two have been spending so much time together!!'' Mai butts in
Naru scowls, getting annoyed by the girls saying he cant do something

Naru pov:
I grab Y/n quickly and walk her out of the room. I hate how Mai and Masako get jealous of her. But I mean..what's not to get jealous of?
I walk around with Y/n, sneakily taking glances of her. This feeling..everytime I'm around her I feel like to magnet in my stomach grows stronger pulling me closer and closer to her..Y/n..Y/n..even her name gets me addicted..call me hooked~

Your pov:
We've been walking in all the rooms and inspecting them but..I have a bad feeling about something, like something will happen..
''Naru..?''
''Hm?'' He responds as he looks at me
I look up at him and as soon as I did I felt nervous..butterflies started to fill my tummy and I start stuttering
''Why is this happening?! Its just Naru! I've never done this before with him!! Why now?! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!''
''Y/n? Are you alright? What's wrong?'' Naru says as he puts his hand around my waist in case I faint
''I-I apologize Naru..I got really flustered there for a moment! Which is so odd..eheh..'' I say as I look up at him with a flustered smile

''Well, I'm comfortable with you! That's why!'' I say as I try to hide my embarrassment for admitting that
''I see...well I'm comfortablewith you two Y/n.'' Naru says a bit flustered

We soon finish our little detective search and come back to the headquarters. Lin was typing away, ask usual. Ayako, Mai, John, and Monk were reading the files we brought back from the mine. And of course, miss Masako Hara is sitting on the couch. We cant have her get her hands dirty!
''Good, you two are back.'' Lin says as he stands
''Yes, Lin come with me real quick we need to double check something.'' Naru says as he looks at Lin
Lin nods and opens the door for Naru
''Y/n, stay here. You deserve a break, okay?'' Naru says as he puts his hand on my shoulder
I nod
''And if your feeling up to it Y/n you can always help us with these files!'' Monk says with a smile
''Okay! I'll help in anyway I can! And if you need me make Lin call me! I'll run as fast as I can to you Naru!'' I smile as I cup his hand
''You got it.'' Naru smiles at me
I wave bye to the two and shut the door and sigh
''Well you and Naru have been hitting it off Y/n?'' Ayako says teasing me
''W-What?! No way!'' Mai, again, butts in
''I think it's cute that you and Mr Shibuya are getting along!'' John says
Monk sighs ''Young love! It's so cute! Shall I prepare a fancy for you two!? And you two can do the lady and the trap sence!''
''Gah! N-No! It's nothing like that M-Monk!!'' I say covering his mouth
Ayako laughs
''We shouldnt even be talking about this. Naru will get offended if you think of him like that Y/n.'' Maskao says getting up and walking to me ''Naru is a business man. Not some boy. Remember that. And he has standards so Y/n and Naru dating if very unrealistic. He wouldn't date some streetrat.'' Maskao says before walking into her room
I hang my head and walk to the table and start analyzing the files we brought from the mine

3 hours later

''Hey, do you think Naru and Lin are okay? It's been three hours since we've heard from them.'' Mai says as she walks in the room
I was memorizing my chants the I use in my shiki form, trying my best to forget what Masako said
''Lin is with Naru, as long as they didnt fell in another mine or worst the two should be fine.''
''And even if they did, Lin would have probably contacted Y/n right?'' John says as he looks up from his book
''What if they got knocked out on the way down? What if the fall broke their necks? What if they landed on rocks and bled out? What if someone took them and killed Lin first so he couldnt reach you and someones torturing Naru? What they tried to reach you but you were to busy in your own thoughts to hear him? What if Maskao found Naru and is stealing him away from you?!'' A nasty voice whispers thoughts in my ear
I jolt up from my table and run to the camera searching for the two
''Whoa Y/n? Something wrong?'' Monk says as he look at me
''They're not on the cameras. W-What if something happened to them?!'' I stand about to rush out the door
Monk grabs me ''Hey! Calm down! I've been working with Naru for over three years. Nothing has ever happened to him, and I'm positive that nothing will happen to him this time. Just relax and breath!''
I look up at Monk and faint.
The others rush to my body and shake my body.
''Good. While they're busy with that, let's go find Naru.''
I run in the halls to Lin's energy. Spirits try to grab me and try to chase after me but I just up over them or avoid them.
''As long as the ghost doesnt show up I should be fine. I just need to check up on the two and make sure that they're okay then I'll rush back to HQ, make up a lie about fainting and go back to work. Yeah okay. But just in case if that spirit decides to try anything I'll kill it. For sure.''
I turn the corner and peek to see Naru leaning over Lin and Lin blessing or cursing something.
''Good..the two are okay..''
''Are you sure about this Naru?'' Lin asks
''Yes. I dont like that spirit that has been taking a liking to Y/n.'' Naru replies
''After this you owe me an explanation. That was our deal.'' Lin says as he sets things on the table
''And you'll get one.'' Naru says as he stands back
''Okay maybe I'll stay a couple of more minutes..dangit curiosity..''

Lin soon finishes the exorcism and simply looks at Naru
''Okay. Now time for the explanation right?'' Naru says, stalling
''Stop stalling already.'' Lin says blankly
Naru sighs ''I didnt want that spirit to take Y/n. It talked about other universes and stuff like that. I dont care about those versions. I care about the one in my universe. I wont let anything take her.. There. Happy?'' Naru says as he starts walking off
Lin starts laughing
Naru turns around and looks at him ''What on earth is so funny Lin?''
''I'm sorry Naru, it's just..its sounds to be that you have a crush on her.'' Lin says and he smiles at Naru
''Stop it. Not another word about this!'' Naru says walking off flustered
Lin simply smiles and follows him back to HQ
I slide down against the wall and touch my heart
''H-Holy moly..O-Okay heart calm down..please!!''
I get up and run back to HQ and slope in my body. Monk was holding me in his arms while the others were trying to figure out a excuse to tell Lun that wouldnt get them killed
''How about we tell them she's sleeping?'' Ayako suggests
''And we can hide her in her room until she wakes up!'' Mai says
Monk stands and starts walking in the direction of my room
I smirk as I scream
Monk, Mai, John and Maskao scream. Ayako just jumps and I couldnt help but start laughing
Monk buts me on the bed and holds his chest ''Your going to give me a heart attack on of these days..and I only know you for three days! Ugh..I'm going to get a early gave..''
I laugh even more at Monk acting like he's old
''Wow..you definitely gave my heart a wake up call Y/n..'' Mai says as she smiles at bit
John smiles ''That was a good one though, I have to hand it to you..didnt expect it..'' he says as he gives me a fist bump
I take my victory
Maskao simply clears her throat and walks away with a attitude
I smirk looking at her acting like she's number one. Well..not in the world and definitely not in Naru's world, I already have that spot taken!
And soon Lin and Naru walk in the door. I jump up and run to them
''Welcome back you two! Lin, I left my studies and practice papers next you you computers!'' I smile
''Oh, I'll check them right away.'' Lin says walking to his computers and working
''You seem to be in a good mood Y/n. Something happen while we were gone?'' Naru says as he looks down at me
''I'm just glad your back Naru!'' I smile at him
Naru smiles back slightly
Maskao snarls under her breath at us
''Aweeeeeeeee!!!'' Monk says as he acts like a fangirl at us ''You two are so cute!!!''
I blush and cover my face
''Surprisingly, I think the same thing. She really balances out my handsomeness with her prettiness. Our children would look like a god.''
Lin snickers slightly
''Okay!! I'm going to go practicing my chants now!!'' I announce loudly and run off quickly and shutting the door behind me
