Name: The male smiles and waves at everyone then takes his hands and starts to spell his name in sign language. Carefully, he makes an L, U, C, A, and to finish off, an S. He scratches the back of his neck, 'My middle and Last name would take too long, sorry' he sighs a bit with an apologetic look across his features. (Lucas Williams)
Age: He looks extremely confused, 'I'm only 18, do I look that old? I sure hope not'
Gender: He looks down at himself and laughs while clutching his stomach. He held his hands up Shakira while trying not to laugh, 'I don't think I look that feminine, I'm a male silly goose'
Species: Lucas looked concerned and cocks an eyebrow, 'Are you alright?' He feels your forehead, 'your temperature seems fine, there's no such thing as a human-like species other than humans.' He pauses, 'and apes... But that's a different story!'
Likes: Lucas shrugs, 'soda pop? Slushies are good too' he signs then stuffs his hands in his pocket.
Dislikes: He glares and kicks the ground, with one hand he pointed to his ears showing he was talking about his disability.
Looks:
Personality: Lucas is a really fun guy, he loves to joke around with others and hang out with people. Granted most don't understand him, and that's makes him feel a bit lonely, but that doesn't stop him from trying, it often made him look a bit goofy.
Back story: Lucas hadn't always had a disability, he was fine up until his 6th grad year, his first year of middle school. When he found he couldn't hear, he stopped talking all together. He was pretty sure he still could talk, but he didn't want to risk messing up. The doctors had said something about something bursting the eardrum, but Lucas hasn't even remembered when it had ever hurt or burst, and it had caused an infection that was difficult to treat, as a result, his hearing was damaged beyond repair.
Pets: His service dog, Terry. Though Lucas didn't want a service dog at first, he claimed he was fine, but after not hearing a car coming while crossing the street and almost getting hit? His parents forced him to get one during his 9th grade year. They got Terry as a puppy and trained him ever since. Now, Lucas is in his senior year of high school, 3 years later.
Scenario 1-
Lucas walked into the new school his his bag slung over his left shoulder and a dog leash in his right hand. Terry easily lead the distracted boy through the crowd of people. It was more than obvious he was new around here. You?
Scenario 2-
You were someone who knew sign language, very well actually. You were called to the office and were informed that the new kid, Lucas, was going to have the same classes with you, and that you would be his translate for the teachers and guide him a bit. Lucas smiles, 'Hello, it's nice to meet you (y/n)' he signs with a smile. Terry, his companion wagged his tail happily but obediently stayed put.
Scenario 3- Lucas had sighed and raised his hand in class. The teacher had called on him and you guess he had asked to leave the room. You didn't know sign language, but apparently the teacher did. So with that, Lucas got up our of his seat, grabbed his bag, and walked out the door with Terry at his heals. You?
NOTE FROM ME-
Okay, so, first things first, no spell, potion, or anything can cure him. He's deaf, leave it at that, if I didn't want him to be, then I wouldn't make him that way.
Secondly, it's a SERVICE dog. Service dogs aren't meant to be touched, pet, given treats or anything else by someone other than the person who owns him. When Terry is out and about, he'll have a vest on and he'll be working. N ow, at home, Terry will still be a working dog, but if they are home, Lucas will let Terry be pampered a little bit, with the exception of giving him dog food and treats and stuff.
SERVICE DOGS ARE A ONE PERSON THING, NO ONE CAN SHARE A SERVICE DOG. Okay, that's all.dannnnnyvsheiiiiii
