To those who didn't get the notification when I made the public announcement on my wall, I told everyone that I'm discontinuing all rps due to my mental state.

The reason being is because of everything going on(corona virus, school work, and personal life issues), plus all the people I would have to respond to all at once, it stressed me out to the point of me not even wanting to go onto wattpad.

I may open the rp back up eventually, but I'd be limiting big time of the number of people allowed, and I don't want to continue old rps and start something new and fresh with entirely new characters.

I am slowly trying to ease back into rp, I have 3 rps going for me right now, and that is because I enjoy rp when it is not a chore.

With everyone tagging me all at once when I haven't responded in 5 minutes, that's when it becomes a chore, especially when I have a million people to respond to. I may be over exaggerating, but you try and continuously respond to about 20 people at once while you have things going on in the real world. It's difficult. It's stressful.

I can't have something I actually enjoy become a chore.

I also asked that you didn't tag me or comment on our chain asking if I wanted to continue. Of course I WANT to continue some of the rps, but I can't, why? For the sake of my mental health. I made ONE exception in this book, that was a new person, that was because I needed to expand my limits a bit.

A lot of people who have rp books end up closing them because it becomes too much. That's a fact.

I probably won't have to worry about anyone tagging me to their chain or form or anything anymore because I'm deleting them all, with the exception of the one person I'm in an rp with now. No other exceptions.

Another reason why I closed my rp was because my female ocs NEVER got any attention. Or at least barely. Partially it's my fault for not keeping up with some of the rps, but that was because I had so many people to reply to, that I had lost their replies in my notification box.

I also don't appreciate how lack of a diversity there is in my book.
My characters could be more diverse, but that's not what I'm talking about.

Most of your ocs are females. Female after female. I don't know about anyone else, but it kinda got me sick of it.

It's also boy Meets girl, or girl meets boy, where are all the gays at?

I know. I never pt a sexuality on any of my ocs for two reasons. One. They'd all be gay. Two. I didn't want anyone asking if I'd make an exception for them.

I get some of you aren't good at playing male characters. That's fine. You can still be a female character. But add something new. Fresh. Maybe make her a HUMAN for change. Don't make her this all powerful human being, she doesn't have to have a tragic past.

Or if you want them to have powers, LIMIT THEIR ABILITY.  Limit what they can do, make sure they have consequences for the power that they use. Maybe if your character has a nature power thing, make her become extremely sick if she's away from the forest or garden or something.
If she could make things grow, then maybe say that she uses up all her energy and becomes extremely tired after she makes things grow.

There is so much you can do to a character. Shape shifter, nymph, elf, Phoenix, expand your horizons.

Let me give you examples.
Angelo, he is a Phoenix, he is also part of other things, but that doesn't matter because the Phoenix gene is the dominant trait. Anyways. Yes, when he dies, he bursts into flames then comes back alive. Can he turn into a giant claiming bird? NO. Is there a limit to his deaths? YES. He can die up to 5 times a day, if he dies 6 times, he is dead forever. When he turns 30, he loses almost all of his power all together. He has only 10 deaths for the rest of his life.
Everytime he dies, a piece of his humanity and willingness to care disappears. He was dead, what do you expect? As he goes on with live, the more he dies, the worst he gets.

Liam. Liam Chenning is a shape shifter demon hybrid. He's got LIMITS. He can only shift 5 maybe 6 times a day, and after each shift he needs some rest due to it taking up his energy. He doesn't use his powers on his demon side because it is out of control. Why? Because he is a hybrid of two different complicated species.

Even Jonas Chenning has limits. He doesn't USE magic often. He prefers the more HUMAN approach to life. Why? Because all magic comes with a price. Let's say he wants to save a life, one life has to die, if he wants to heal someone, he either inherits their pain/wound or it is inflicted on someone else, if he wants to create something out of nothing, karma comes with that thing. Maybe he is too lazy to change his clothes, welp, if he makes them magically appear from nothing, then his energy will be drained from that.

Nymph. I have a moon nymph oc. I'll probably be making more moon nymphs as well as some sun nymphs and such. THERE IS A LIMIT/WEAKNESS. For my moon nymphs, if they get hit with sunlight, they instantly become extremely tired and some even drop to the ground  because they can't handle the sunlight. The reason why they live underground or in caves.

Even my elves have limits. Typically my elves are nature based, they have great communication with nature and everything, however, they do have some sort of power. Do they use it? No. They only use it when it's needed and beneficial to the earth.

Those are just a few examples on what you can do.

I am adding more to the form, skin tone, eye color, where they are from, weaknesses etc.

I'm not trying to be rude, I'm really not. But it's just things that lead me to not only the closing of my book. It's not even just that, it's also just tips you can bring into your characters.

Idk, I started rambling, anyways, reasons why I closed my book, or whatever, if you have any questions lemme know in the comments
