The Golden Crane
People think that Manchester was only great during the industrial revolution and again during the reign of the benevolent cultural dictator St Tony Wilson. This solid gold tower crane glowing in the sunset is an installation by the famous artist Abnish Kapow and commemorates the 3rd great age of this grim northern powerhouse.
