Chapter 3 - Friends

After chatting to Hat Films for a while, I swiftly left once we realised they were extremely late for their stream. Once I left their room, I knew I had to get back to work - I didn't want to slack on the first day. At the end of the corridor I saw Nina, who I'd spoken to briefly after Lewis' tour, talking to two other girls, one who was fairly tall with long black hair and the other was really short and had long golden hair. Nina noticed me and waved 
"Hey, Marnie. I was just telling Bouphe and Lydia about you," 
Anxiety filled my body again. She only just met me - was she already slagging me off?
"Yeah, Nina was saying that you seemed really sweet even though she just met you," The taller girl smiled at me "I'm Lydia, this is Bouphe" Bouphe gave me a smile and quick wave, I returned the greeting. I was incredibly relieved that Nina said good things about me. 
"It's always nice to have a new girl around, means we can plot against the boys when they're being annoying," Lydia joked 
"Like that time where we made caramel apples and gave them to Mike, Harry, Daf and Mark but they were actually onions," Nina giggled 
"We need to plan a new prank in honour of Marnie joining," Bouphe suggested and the other two nodded their heads' in agreement. I lit up to this suggestion.
"We could stick a foghorn to a door handle so when they open it, it hits the wall and goes off," I propsed to them and a sneeky grin emerged on their faces.
"Good thinking," Nina smirked and I started beaming. 
"So, you must like some sort of video games if you decided to join the Yogscast," Bouphe said "What do you like?" 
"Well, I like Pokemon, I play that religiously," I replied. Lydia gasped
"I love Pokemon!" She exclaimed "I play it with Harry on Twitch, you should join us one day"
At this I was surrounded by all three of them, we were talking about our favourite games and making plans to prank the boys. I was smiling the whole way through. Turns out, I'm better at making friends then I thought. I hoped that I'd become a lot closer to the people I'd met today; they were amazing.

Short chapter I know but I wanted Marnie to make a few girl friends, especially with these three lovely ladies because I love him, they're so nice. Next chapter I'm planning a little more of development which isn't Marnie's first day, it's a little bit further into the future.
