Chapter Nine

"Kamorin baby! Please wake-up" I heard an unfamiliar voice whisper. I groaned.

"Lord, did he touch you? Oh god my baby. Wake up for me, Please Kamorin." The voice said shaking my face with their soft hands gently.

I opened my eyes to see an face that looked so familliar. I squinted my eyes.

"Mama?" I said in a whisper. "Is that you?" I asked wiping my eyes then opening them again. And it was most defiantly my mother. The once shoulder-length black hair she once had, was now in the middle of her back. A light brown color, with blonde high-lights. She looked flawless. (Iman in the MM)

I jumped back. From the sight of her.

'Am I dreaming?'

Then those words Jem said played in my mind.

'Your mother is alive'

I looked around so confused, that's my mother that has been gone for eight years of life. I just wanted to jump on her then hug her but where could she gone for eight whole years?

When we buried her, who was in the casket? Who was the person that my family buried?

"This is some Pretty Little Liars type shit" I thought.

I looked at the woman that stood in front of me. She was defiantly Iman Trescott, my mother. The woman that died on my eighth birthday right in front me. She was shot, the doctors said she was dead. How is she still alive?

"Kamorin, this is just a dream. Chill" I said to myself.

"No, Kamorin! Look at me, it's me. Your mother. This is not a dream, this is real. I'm here" My mother said grabbing my hand making me jump. I thought she was ghost or something, and I was going crazy.

"You died! I saw it mama, I saw it" I said with tears forming in my eyes.

"I know, it's a very long story baby. But I'm back." My mama said smiling weakly and squeezing my hand very tightly.

"But the doctors said you were gone. They said you didn't make it. If that wasn't you laying in that hospital bed, and in that casket. Who was it then?" I said to myself more than my mother. I'm still trying to get the fact that my mother was still alive.

"I honestly don't know. Everything happened so fast. Next thing I know I'm being put in the back of the truck and being token to a foreign country. But listen, I know your confused and you wanna know everything that happened, but we need to go and get out of here before they come and find us then really kill us" My mother said grabbing a key out of her bra, then unlocking my cuffs.

I stood to my feet and jumped in my mothers arms.

"I missed you mama!" I cried into the crook of her neck.

"I missed you too baby." My mother said sniffling. She put me down and faced me.

"We have to go Kamor-"

Then the door was kicked open and it was the workers that kidnapped me, and Jem.

"Well well well, look at what we have here." Uncle Jem said chuckling to himself.

The workers shook their heads at us.

"What did you think? You could escape from me? Hell naw cuh! Hell naw" Uncle Jem said walking towards my mother and I.

Uncle Jem walked over to me then looked at my mother and spit right in her face.

And before my mother could react he backhanded her.
