Chapter 6

The next day I was greeted by a smiling Taylor. "Party, Friday."
"Awesome." Even though parties weren't really my thing, I wanted to be friendly and go. I mean, it was at my boyfriends abandoned house, he found.
"You just planned a party and today's Thursday?"
"Yeah, pretty much." He kissed my head and we walked to first period hand in hand.

The next day was the party and I got dressed in pants because I didn't really care much for my appearance, and a long sleeve tee.
Me and Taylor walked into the house hand in hand. "I'll get you something to drink."
"Okay." He walked off and Johnson walked up to me. He reeked of alcohol and drugs. "What's up with you."
"Tenley, I love you." He grabbed me and kissed me. I tried to pry myself off of him but he just latched on.
"Jack, get off." I pride myself off of him and went to look for Taylor. He was still getting our drinks, thank god.

The next day Taylor came over and we watched movies all day.
We did our home work and then he had to leave.
I got a text from a blocked number.
Stay away from Taylor. He's mine. Or else.
What was that?
Whatever, what do they have on me?

Finally Monday. I ran up to Taylor and he lifted me up and spun me around. "Hey beautiful."
"Hi handsome." I smiled. We walked hand in hand to first period.

When I went home that day Taylor texted me telling me to go outside and grab my skateboard.
I did as I was told and he was there with his skateboard, as the snow had cleared up. We were skateboarding down the street when he stopped and pulled out his phone to look at a text. "Tenley, what is this?" He showed me a picture of me and Jack kissing at the party on Friday. "You're, you're, cheating on me." His face went red with anger and he started backing away from me.
"No, Taylor, Johnson, he was drunk and he forced himself upon me."
"Don't tell me that." He hopped on his skateboard and started riding away as fast as he could.
"Taylor, wait! I can explain!"
"That's exactly what Kaitlin told me."
He was riding faster and I was gaining on him. He turned to me and kept riding. "You know what Tenley, I shouldn't have trusted you, I knew it, you would've just screwed me over."
"Taylor!
"No! Get out of my life!"
"Watch out!"
I watch helplessly as the love of my life is hit by and oncoming truck and falls unconscious in the middle of the road.
