Note from the Author: Ally made me clarify that this book originally took place in Tableland, not Emililand. Plus, Ally the Annoying Alligator was supposed to have been allies with Villainous Vedha, but I didn't know that, so we're saying that Ally got more and more annoying so Vedha got rid of her.

Anyways, on to the story...

Villainous Vedha viewed villages, visualizing victories and victims vanishing.

She stared out the window where dirty, dusty villages were falling apart. And past that, through the morning mist, at the 'great' castle where a frightened queen would be screaming in any minute now when she discovered the scandal Squire Ruchi had pulled off. Villainous Vedha knew all about the squire's scheme through the spy cameras she had set up and viewed every twenty minutes.

Villainous Vedha had been very proud of the squire's latest scandal, and would have become allies with her if it hadn't been for the fact that she was reading 1,296 Tips to Have Innocent People Defeated and be Blamed for Crushing Them, which was the most delightful book she had ever read. On page five now, out of 799 pages, the villain had learned that it was most wise to stab villains of equal strength in the back after befriending them. She would climb to the top of Victory Mountain alongside Squire Ruchi, only to step on the squrie's hands when near the peak.

The villain sighed, sipping a refreshing cup of ginger tea. The next part of her plan would be even more magn--

A low rumbling in the distance interrupted Villainous Vedha's thoughts. She tried to continue with her ever-amazing plans but the noise just grew louder and louder.

"SHUT UP YOU STUPID RUMBLING!" she finally screeched.

The rumbling didn't quiet down, let alone shut up. Villainous Vedha, who was not used to things not following her demands-- even if they were noises-- stood up, flung open her castle's doors, and marched out into the open. Crossing her arms, she put on a scowl, sure to frighten any creature creating that completely annoying, completely frustrating, completely aggravating rumbling. She looked into the distance, and a look of shock replaced her expression.

Twenty-three strangers dressed in faded-black rags were racing towards the heart of Tableland, towards Vedha's castle. They were obviously from The Unknown, the area of sea that surrounded the large country. Nobody had ever came from there for the eleven whole years Tableland had been founded. As far as any of the Tablelandese were concerned, the only plant and human life in the world came from their nation. Now, not one, not two, but a giant group of the Unknown-ers were coming towards Tableland.

The rag-clad people were now close enough for Villainous Vedha to observe in detail, and they stopped abruptly when they were about eight yards away from the villain. Two of the twenty-three were dressed in gray clothes, even more rickety than the rest of them. Written in smeared dirt was the word 'SLAVE' across their shirts, but the girl had 'Megan Everson' at the top while the boy had 'Nathan Shaufele'.

One of the twenty-one who were not slaves stepped forward. He had a cigarette sticking out of his crazy smile.

"Take me to your leader!" he called, in a voice that made him sound insane. "I am Isaak, leader of the P--"

"What are you talking about?" scoffed an Indian boy with an even wackier expression and voice, gnawing his yellowing teeth on a stick of burnt meat with the words 'FAT COW' on the packaging. "I'm the leader-- that's why my name is King Abhijit."

A tall, broad-shouldered blonde, who was gripping a gigantic chainsaw said: "King Abhijit? King Abhijit? There's never been a King Abhijit, but there has been a Queen Sara."
