What is love?
I've never know the feeling of love
Towards another person whom
I loved romantically.
I felt the love of a family member.
But what is the love of a romantic partner?
I have read and witnessed the love
Of a romantic relationship.
I've heard that people wish
It would last forever when they have it.
but it doesn't.
I've seen love throw the people
I love away like it was nothing.
I've witnessed people I love fall victim to this so called bliss.
I have tried to force my self to love .
But it only ends with me
Throwing myself away hiding
Who I really am behind a mask of "love".
What is true love?
I fear I while never know.
