He looked dazed and in a rush. I couldn't help but analyse this guy that stood before me. He was wearing silver hoop earrings on each ear. My eyes followed the way his beads of sweat, trailed down his skin, on to his chest, giving away his well-built biceps, through the white tank that stuck to his body, while he wore a black satin bomber over it. His jeans hugged his thighs perfectly.
I gulped. Those thighs... NO! Y/N THIS IS NOT THE TIME!
I quickly broke away from the spell I was under. "Who the heck are you?!"
His brown beautiful orbs widened as if he weren't expecting to see anyone here, not to mention, he didn't even look like he was attending anyone's wedding.
"Shit" He cursed yet even that sounded sexy. Is that supposed to happen?
Before I knew it, this guy rushed towards me pulling me against him. My back was touching this lord of a body. And for some odd fucking reason, I wasn't hating this... The touch of his hand barely brushing against my lips made me feel tingly.
"I'm sure I saw him go this way" we heard a muffled teenage girls voice, coming from behind the door.
I could hear his heart beating faster and faster. Why is he hiding?
"please, don't say anything" his husky voice tickled my ear, stirring something within me, while one hand wrapped around my belly and the other continued enabling me from saying anything.
I gulped, wrapping my hand on his to give some space for me to utter words.
"Only if you lend me your sneakers" I managed to whisper.
'Let's go that way' we could hear the girl's voices echoing through the corridors.
He slowly let go of me biting his lip, in confusion, while I turned to him adjusting my dress.
"what are you? a runaway bride?" He knitted his eyebrows, making me cross my arms underneath my chest letting out a puff of air while forcing a smile "That would be a brilliant idea, but no. Unfortunately, I've invested too much in this wedding for me to do that."
"Why? Don't you like your guy?" He knitted his eyebrows as if he couldn't understand and honestly, I didn't give a shit. I naturally closed my eyes taking a breather and trying to understand why I had to explain this to someone who just randomly barged into my dressing room.
The sound of knocking on the door travelled the room and this dude stiffened. "Y/N is everything okay? You're not having second thoughts are you?" My mother worried.
"I'll be out now! Just fixing my makeup!" I lied through my teeth. Well, not completely since I did need to touch up the mascara that ran down my face and that now reminds me that I'm here looking like a fucking clown who just got run over by a truck in front of this hunk of a dude. I mean... can my day be any worse?!
"Okay. I'll go back" She announced. I could hear the sound of her heels clicking on the wooden tiles of the floor as it soon began to fade away and a sigh of relief escaped my lips.
"For a guy who just invaded my personal space and seems to be hiding for god knows what reason, you sure ask a lot of questions" I probably sounded like an arrogant bitch, but I'm at a stage in my life right now, that i don't think I really give a fuck. But continuing...
"So, what's it going to be?" I lifted my eyebrow. "Shoes? Or the girls that seem to be looking for you?"
He bit his lip, mumbling in annoyance "This is ridiculous", while removing his shoes off.
"No." I waved my index finger, folding it and pointing my thumb back at me, right after. "My life is ridiculous", taking hold of his shoes that looked so big, away from him and placing it on my feet. I felt like a kid trying to get into my dad's shoes, but screw it.
