After my mini reunion with my mother, I decided to do something Kass and I did everyday before and after school; Star Bucks. I haven't gone since her.. death.

I was already through the door, waiting in line. Keeping my eyes low to the ground, I waited until someone called me up. "Hello, what would you like?"

She was a busty blonde, which was obviously flaunting her goods, as her fake smile, stretched farther upwards. It was sad, really.

"Uh yeah, um. I would like to have a strawberries and cream frappe, small please..." I spoke, my voice low and smooth. That was Kassandras favorite..

She smiled. "That'll be 3.75, Hun."

Handing her my money, I waited once more, my lips pursed, deep in thought. I wonder how it would be if Kass was still here.. would our friends still be our friends? Would the jocks still bully her? Jesus, what is wrong with people. Bullying someone to the point of death. It's gross.

That's 1 strong reason I quit football, those pricks wouldn't stop. My previous so called friends, before Kassandras group. I wanted to smash their faces in. But I knew that they weren't the only reason for her suicide..

"Ourin, your frappe is ready." Shaking those sad thoughts away, I collected my drink and sat down.

I heard the bell from the door ring a few times, but then it stopped. Giving in to my curious side I looked up to see the girl who took my order for earlier; I'm assuming she's off duty as of now. She smiled my way, and walked towards me, plopping in the seat in front of mine. "Hi."

"Erh.. um Hi." I responded dumbly. I was the never the conversationalist until I met Kass, but why should I talk if she's not here anymore? "Do you want to talk sometime?"

She had a flirtatious smile planted onto her face. Looking down to her name tag, which was oddly still there, I noticed her name was Jennifer.

I shook my head no, "No thanks Jennifer. You're um.. not my type.." I said the last 3 words slowly so it would register in her mind. She looked at me, a small fragment of anger in her eyes.

"Whatever, little boy. You're missing out on this," she said motioning to her body.

Feeling a little courageous at the moment, I sneered. "On what? I don't see anything except another girl with a bitchy personality."

With those final words she flipped her hair, and walked out; trying to sashay out the door, which she stupidly pulled instead of pushed. This made me laugh.

I sipped some of my frappe, as I felt 6 pairs of eyes on me. They belonged to 2 guys, and 1 girl which was about 14.

They had their drinks in hand, and were walking towards me (urgh, why) with a smile on their face. The first guy spoke up, "Dooodeee, do you know who that was? You turned down Jennifer Hamptin! Queen of J.T High! Hey, do you go there? I don't think I've seen you before. Man, that was cool." He bombarded me with questions, which I all said no to.

He took out his hand, "Hi, I'm Markus. This one is Matt, and the little one is Madison. The 3 M's." This made me laugh inside. That's cute.

"Hi, I'm Ourin. I go to North High, actually.." I could feel a little of my inner conversationalist coming out of me. That may sound odd, but I feel better, the best I've ever been since then.

Madison kind of looked like Kassandra. With her scene side-swept fringe, her nirvana shirt, tattered converse. A little mini Kass.

Matt and Markus on the other hand, we're completely identical. They both had the same facial features, and from upon my observing knowledge same fashion choices. Although where Matt had light blue eyes, Markus had hazel eyes. Completely similar, nonetheless. "Hey, we actually have to go but do you want to talk later? Mum wanted us home early since these two dorks decided to stay up until 7 in the morning, walking around some place, on a school night."

This time it was Madison who spoke up. I gave a curt nod, and pulled out a pen which I unknowingly had in my pocket. The perks of being lonely 1) Always having a pen on you.

Writing down my number on Matts arm, they walked out. 10 minutes later I had slurped down my frappe, and was ready to go. I threw it in the trash can and walked out into the fresh air. "Today was an okay day," I said to myself, nodding quietly while walking on the sidewalk; the way towards my house ready to go out another day.

Okay, I'm pretty sure I'm getting my laptop on Friday, and my dad is getting a touchscreen laptop so he won't be on the desktop ever ever again. When my laptop goes through necessary updates, I'll probably be on the desktop updating. I'm thinking if I should stop updating and wait for votes and comments. Probably when I finish chapter 4, I will wait until  Iget 15-20 votes.

thank you ourphens. c:
