*Tessas POV
I know what I have to do, and I know it will be scary but I dont want to die. I dont want to leave Hardin before I get a chance to love him and show him how amazing a stable relationship can be but im also scared, what if we dont work out and im stuck as this thing... all alone. I know what i have to do but I have some conditions of my own.
Hardin comes back into my room moments later, "So my sweet Tessie" He rubs his rand against my face, "do you have an answer for me?" He asks with a sweet and innocent smile. I look at him deep into his eyes and sign, "Yes but, im scared." He looks at me and scoots closer "Why are you scared Tessa?" Even in that crappy hospital lighting Hardin still looks so good I was thinking, "Because what if something happens to us, how do I know you wont leave." I said with puppy dog eyes while staring at him. I wasent sure what was going through Hardin mind but I knew something was.
He stood up and walked over to his jacket, "I was gonna save this for when you said yes... assuming and hoping you would say yes but.." He pulls out a tiny box and comes over and sits next to me, he opens the box and I see a ring, with a diamond and an infinity sign. "Its a promise ring, that I will love you and support you until I can get you a real ring and officially make you Mrs.Scott.... So why do you say Tessie?"
In my head I was screaming, jumping with joy, "Yes.. YES of course!" I said leaning over giving him a big hug. "So thats a yes to both things?" I nod and say "Yes Hardin."
*Hardins POV*
She said yes.... omg she said yes! I wasent gonna lose my tessie!!! I told her I would be right back and I went into the waiting room where I found my parents. "She said yes." They both nodded there head and thats when we came up with the game plan. To everyone else she wasent gonna live, no point in spending her last days in a hospital. We checked Tessa out of the hospital and brought her back to her house where I told her to pack a suitcase for a few days.
We get into the car together holding hands, first stop Starbucks. I let her order whatever her heart desires, Next stop was the grocery store where we bought ice cream, cookies, cake, pizza, and other foods we needed for the next couples days then I went to the medical isle and bought ibuprofen. We check out and end back to the car for the long drive up the mountain.
About an hour later we pull up to the house and nightfall has already taken over, My sweet tessie is sound asleep in the passenger seat so I carry her in and get her comfy in bed. I then get some wipes and take off her makeup for her and give her a kiss on the forehead, I go back to the car and unpack everything and put everything away, finally I settle down next to my beautiful one day wife. She looks so peaceful when she sleeps, which is good because tomorrow I have tons of surprises for her. "Goodnight my sweet Tessie." And I close my eyes and drift into sleep.
