*Hardins POV
It's 12:56 am in the morning and I'm about to sneak into Tessas room to explain everything. I cant help but think: What if she hates me... what if i scare her away?
I stop thinking these thoughts because its not putting me in a good headspace, I hop out my window and climb into hers. "Hey" I said with a smile, she smiles back and says "Hi, come sit with me." I go over to her bed and sit down.
*Tessas POV*
Hardin just came through my window and there's that big goofy yet adorable smile, I cant help but smile back. He sits down and I'm anxious for what's coming next. I can see him struggling for words so I try and help with "Just be honest." He closes his eyes and huffs. "Where to begin?" He asks. I smirk and say "At the beginning" Once again he signs, "My family has an interesting background, my dad is from the northern part of Canada and my mum is from Europe. I don't know how to explain it so I'm just going to show. Dont be afraid I wont hurt you." I start to get confused, what is he talking about then his eyes turn read and he flashes his fangs.
"What the hell." I scream as I push myself away from him. "Get away from me!!" I scream even louder. Hardins face returns to his sweet green eyes, he scoots closer to me "Please dont be afraid" he said with a sweet smile and sad eyes. I dont know what to think. This is all so scary and new, I'm speechless, i want answers but I'm scared do I tell him to stay or do I tell him to leave?
"I.....i need answers, explain please." I say looking down knowing i need answers. " My dad is a blood or known in fictional stories as vampires and my mum is a wolf. So I'm a hybrid, I am half of both but I can chose when I turn." Once again I'm shocked and speechless. "You see when a wolf finds their mate they cant find another, so they claim you with a type of mark, but a vampire needs to leave a marking on your neck to fully have found "the one"." Hardin explains more. "Tessa, your my one. Please be open minded." I don't know what to think, I like him a lot but will this be a deal breaker?
