I laid on my bed with my legs up in the sky smiling to myself thinking about how my day went with Namjoon.
"Hello? Rose?!"
"Hm?"
I turned my head and looked at Jimin.
"Were you even listening?"
"Sorry."
I cringed slightly, accidentally not listening to Jimin talk. He sat up from his spot and looked at me.
"What's on your mind hm?"
I smiled again and sat up as well, adjusting myself so that I was sitting crisscrossed apple sauce and looking at Jimin.
"Is it weird to go out with your teacher?"
His eyes widened and he looked uncomfortable.
"No no not like that! Just...as friends."
He arched an eyebrow at me and his jaw dropped.
"Do not tell me. Mr. Kim! When?!"
"Earlier today. It was nice. I got to order whatever I wanted."
Jimin stopped smiling and looked back at my face.
"Why are you still with that jerk. He treats you like shit, yet, you stay."
I looked down and sighed heavily trying to figure out a way to either change to subject or to even answer that question properly.
"Max...Max cares about me believe it or not. He just gets angry from time to time. We all do stupid things when we're upset. Don't worry about me though. I'm fine."
Jimin held my hands tightly. The warmth from his hands was different than how cold and hollow Max's hands were.
"What happened to your eye again?"
"I was trying to change the plumbing under my sink and the pipe sprung out and hit me."
I looked down feeling a bit ashamed now.
Jimin only stared at me as if he was trying to figure out the truth but I'm not going to let him. If Max finds out, he'll be furious.
Right as I was going to speak, my phone rung.
"Sorry, I'm going to take this."
Jimin nodded and I got up and went to his bathroom and took out my phone.
Max.
I took a deep breath and answered it.
"Hello?"
I said lowly a bit nervous.
"Where are you?"
His words were slurred. I was able to hear the loud music in the background meaning he went to a bar tonight.
"I'm at Jimin's. I told you earlier."
"Are you s-sure or are you at your teacher's house. Fucking him! You should be fucking me only!"
I sighed heavily a bit annoyed but I didn't let him hear me.
"Where are you, Maxie? I'll come and get you."
"No no no. I can find my way home."
"Max, send me your location."
He mumbled to himself frustratedly and sooner or later, I got his location.
