3rd POV
"Suzaku hold on Lelouch isn't as athletic as you!" A young girl said as she lean down to help her raven-haired friend.
"Oh right sorry... Lelouch here take my hand." He said as he reached down to help him.
"Sometimes you guys are too inhuman to be this strong," Lelouch said as he grab Suzaku's hand. Once he was up they could hear something from far away. As soon as they got catch their breath they heard their friend.
"What's that noise?" (F/n) asked a bit scared since she's never heard it before. It was then the peaceful life they once knew was over.
The date was August 10 in the year 2010 of the imperial calendar The holy Britannian empire had just declared war upon Japan, the far east island nation, which had held fast to its neutrality and now Britannia looms as the world's only superpower. Rights to Japan's underground resources became a hotly disputed issue straining the already deep-rooted diplomatic tensions between the side. In the deciding battle for the mainland Britannia enforces introduced into combat the humanoid autonomous armored knight known as the nightmare frame. The enemy's forces were far greater than anticipated and the nightmares obliterated the Japanese line of defense and the mainland with little effort was victorious. Japan became a dominion of the empire, the country was stripped of its freedom, its rights, and its name. Area 11... the defeated and once proud nation of Japan was rechristened with a mere number.
Though the Japanese knew that their once-peaceful life wouldn't be the same anymore. A few people still fight and try to win back their freedom. Others decide to obey and become honorary Britannia citizens. In the end, it was their own choice in which way they chose to live.
To this day people have not forgotten the day they lost their name and rights, but they still cling on to the little hope that someday they would once again call themselves Japanese again.
Time skip 10 years later
Your POV
As I looked out the window I couldn't help but worry about a certain raven-haired boy. I almost forgot where I was until someone spoke to me.
"(F/n) is something wrong?" I snapped back to look at the most adorable girl in the world. Though I wish I could give her the ability to see again for her to see the beautiful weather we're having today.
"No just a bit worried about Lelouch making it in time for class. Honestly, what was he thinking leaving to go gambling during our lunch break." I said as she giggled seeing that I would be more concerned about his grades than my own.
"I guess Lelouch is causing you to worry about his grades like any mother would. Even though you're both around the same age." Nunnally said as I notice a bit of food on her cheek. I grab my napkin and walked towards her to clean her face.
"Well it can be helped after all your family to me," she smiled and held my hand close.
"Will you always be with us?" I smile and grab her hand and intertwined our pinkies together.
"Here let's make a promise kay," I said as she seem confused.
"Cross my heart,
hope to die,
eat a thousand needles if I lie,
pinky promise song~" I sang to her as she smiled and giggled.
"That's such a strange song," she said as I felt happy making her smile.
"Well when Lelouch gets back you can teach him that song," she nodded as sayoko came in.
"Sayoko is it time for my next lesson already?" Nunnally asked as I smile.
"Yes I'm sorry to disturb lady Nunnally and lady (F/n), please forgive me," sayoko said as I smile.
"Don't worry sayoko it's fine I need to head back too. Please take good care of Nunnally while I'm gone." She nodded as I lean and kiss Nunnally's forehead.
"I'll see you when I get back kay?" She nodded and wave goodbye to me as I grab my stuff and headed back to class.
'Hopefully, Lelouch is in class.'
Nunnally POV
As I hear big sister leave for class I couldn't help but wonder what she looks like. There are times I wish my body wasn't in this kind of state, where I have to rely on others' strengths to move around instead of using my own.
"Lady Nunnally are you alright?" Sayako asked as I could sense her coming close.
"I'm alright but I was wondering if you could help me with something," I ask as I smiled at her.
"Of course, what is it that you need?"
"I want to give big sister a gift as a thank you present for everything she's done for me and Lelouch. Since Lelouch isn't here I was wondering if you can pick it out for us?" I asked as she place her hand on mine.
"Of course, I'll be glad to help, in fact I think we can make the gift instead." She said which was an amazing idea.
"I like that idea, but what can we make?" I asked her since I can see what we'll be doing.
"I think I have an idea that is easy to make and fun for everyone to do." She said as I smile as she went to grab the materials
'I wonder what it is.'
Lelouch POV
I looked at all the dead soldiers that shot Suzaku and the girl who took the shot in the forehead. Yet now that I have this power I can change the way things are.
"Right now then," I couldn't help but smile knowing how things are about to change.
