Alison's phone rang at 3 in the morning. "What?" she said angrily. "There's been a homicide at the docks." her partner Dean Gates explained. Alison crawled out of bed and put some more suitable clothes on, a nice pair of jeans and her blue blouse.
Once Alison got to the crime scene she slipped on some gloves and went up to meet Gates. He told her that the victim had multiple stab wounds to the chest and they had identified him as Patrick Samson from his drivers license. Alison didn't think the crime lab would be able to get any DNA off of him because the waves and the wind had soaked him in bloody salt water.
A/N also a assignment sorry it is really short but I promise a complete short story will be out on the weekend
