Lady Tsunade's POV

As I was in my office trying to finish the sake I had someone had the audacity to barge into my office without even knocking. "Lady Tsunade we need you're help!" Yelled Chōji. I looked at the door surprised to see Chōji and Ino were trying to hold Shikamaru while he was thrashing around in pain.

"Wha- what happened to him!" I wondered how he got like this.

Ino grunted as she and Chōji got hit by Shikamaru's thrashing around. "Ino go get Shizune and tell her to get here as fast as she can!" I yelled as I ushered Chōji over to my table while shoving all of the stuff on my desk off.

"R-right!" Ino said then she turned around and quickly ran out while Chōji put Shikamaru on the desk.

"Chōji you hold his arms and I'll hold his legs!" I said grabbing Shikamaru's legs as he started trying to wiggle out of our grasp while screaming in agony.

Kiba's POV

As soon as I couldn't see or feel Naruto's chakra I knew he was truly gone. I just couldn't except that though. My friend...the one person who inspired me to be better and do better...my first rival and first love. I never even had the chance to tell him how I felt.

A sudden rage took over my body it was almost as if I wasn't even in control of my own body. It was a primal instinct to attack the people who hurt him but it was clouded by pain and anger and I couldn't tell who I was attacking. All I saw was red. But suddenly a memory flashed in front of my eyes.

Naruto was curled into a ball as he got beaten up by villagers. He was just on the ground taking all the kicks and punches. I watched them as they continued to kick and punch him but I didn't realise what they were saying until I saw him cry. That was when I realised what they were said to him.

"YOU'RE A MONSTER"

"A HORRIBLE CREATURE"

"YOU'RE NOT HUMAN"

"YOU PEICE OF SCUM"

"GO DIE YOU BEAST"

"YOU'RE WORTHLESS"

I watched as he just took all of this and I thought why does he take all of this. He just accepted what they all said and did. But why!

"Hey! Leave him alone you scum!" I didn't know what I was saying or why I...just did. What shocked me was that Akamaru growled and started barking at the people. But the most shocking was that when Akamaru's barking couldn't get them to stop he charged in and bit the one who was the most vicious towards Naruto.

As I was walking towards the Inuzuka compound Akamaru kept growling at every single living thing that came too close to Naruto who was unconscious in my arms. Akamaru didn't even want me to hold him, it took a lot of convincing to even get Akamaru to allow me near Naruto.I don't even know why Akamaru is so protective over Naruto.

As I jumped up onto the compound's front wall the other inuzuka nin dogs looked up at us and growled and that caught their partners off guard especially since I brought someone to compound.

"Wha-where am I?" Naruto? I looked down to see Naruto's celestial blue orbs looking at me weakly as he tried to move. I was shocked and ended up letting go of him...big mistake because Akamaru bit my hand for that and then jumped to try and catch him.

Everyone watched as Naruto was falling and the nin dogs started to panic as they ran around and jumped up to try and catch Naruto. What was surprising was the dog that catch Naruto...my mother's partner, Kuromaru.

After that my mother yelled at me for bringing an unconscious person to our compound. She thought I had beaten up Naruto, and to say she was angry or upset would be an understatement to say the least. The entire time Naruto was being check out by a few medical ninjas Akamaru and Kuromaru did not take their eyes off of Naruto. It was as if they were worried that we would try to hurt Naruto but no one understood why they were acting like this.

Ever since then Naruto seemed to pop into my mind more and more. And I started to fall for him. But as soon as I saw him cry again after 2 and a half years, I realized that I had not merely fallen for him but instead I had a connection to him that was stronger than any other. He doesn't even realize. To be honest he never knew. He might never know now though.
