The rumbles of steps from above the dirt can be heard below the ground. The screams of the wounded soldiers and the cries of the newly captured villagers. This is the time of despair where no one can live freely on their own will. Some people say that this is the end. But the truth is, it is still the beginning. This is the birth of The Demon.

~~~~~
It's been three years since the war has started and sometimes people think that this could be the end. A lot of families were murdered by the assassins of the opposing kingdom, Bernoki. Everywhere is not a safe place. You've been followed, stalked, watched, then be killed or made as workers and slaves in Bernoki.
There's a family who found a safe place to live, the underground tunnel. This family lived in peace until the war started. A boy named Paul Galee is 8 years old. He has blonde wavy hair. Whenever he's with his family he feels safe and secure.
"Paul, will you came here please." his mother, Amanda Galee, called him from the other side of the tunnel. She is beautiful and smart who loves flowers. She is so slender that you can't say she has three kids.
"What is it, mother?" Paul asked as he walked to her mother who is currently knitting.
"Go tell your sisters to stop arguing, okay?" And by that, he marched towards his sisters.
"Dale and Gale will you stop arguing." he scolded them.
"She started it." his sisters said in unison.
"It doesn't matter who started it, what matters is for you two to stop arguing," Paul said while crossing his arms and wearing his determined look.
"Fine." Dale said. Both of them crossed their arms.
"Thank you." Paul smiled at them and they smiled back.
"Such old kids. Despite that, I'm just an 8-year-old kid and they're my 10-year-old older twin sisters." he thought. Yes, they're his older twin sisters. They both have dirty blonde hair, fair skin, tall, and always wear identical clothes. The difference is that Dale has light blue eyes while Gale has gray eyes. Also, Dale is hyper and Gale is more on being mysterious and serious.
"I'm back." said the man wearing a faded brown cloak with a bag of food.
"Father, you're back early. How's the outside?" Gale went to greet his father.
This is their father, Ralph Galee. He is a well-built man. He is large, tall, and strong. He protects the family from danger.
"Yeah, the shop did not have a lot of costumers so Mr. Urly sent us home." He said putting down the bag and sat next to Amanda. "The outside, as always not a safe place to be." He continued. He then kissed his mother on the cheeks. She smiled a genuine smile and then continued knitting.
~A While Later~
Dale was sleeping and Paul is playing with the rocks he collected. He like collecting things, I think it's a habit already.
They are laughing at their father's jokes and suddenly.
"Aaahhhhh...!" Dale's scream echoed in the tunnel. They quickly ran to Dale.
"Honey, what's going on?" Amanda asked Dale with concern in her voice.
Dale didn't answer. Her breath is heavy and fast.
"What is it?" Ralph asked.
"The-there's a fire, a gigantic fire," she said. Fear covering her eyes.
"You mean a village on fire? Like that?" Gale asked with concern.
"Exactly like that, blood everywhere." she paused to catch some air, and then a tear slid on her cheek.
"There's a family, and a creature, a very strange creature!" she continued. She burst into tears.
"What did it do?" Amanda continued asking.
"It stabbed a boy, a kid!and said something." she stopped. They waited for her to continue.
She just stared at them. Quietly, Dale looked at Paul.
"The demon." she said in a husky voice then fell on the bed. Dale is now sleeping, breathless.
"Well, well. The gate of hell is near to be opened." an old woman with a cracky voice said. The place they're at is full of books, potions, papers, a big cauldron filled with a teal sticky liquid in it at the center of the room.
Where could this be? What is this place?
There's only one place where you can find the answers to these questions.
They are the witches. And this is where they live, Mt. Targer. This mountain is surrounded by a lot of different creatures. Creatures with horns, fangs, and scales.A place where dangerous creatures that feed on anything they see. These creatures serve as the guardians of the witches' liar that only a few can enter. Witches are like a bookshelf of both demons and mages, including humans. They're the ones who know everything, from the very beginning of the history of both worlds. In other words, they are the keepers and these keepers are in no one's side.
