Third person's P.O.V.

"Come on Paul, let's go to the chocolate fountain over there," Joseph said as he grabbed Paul's hand.

The celebration continued. Everyone in the kingdom rejoiced.

"Hmmm, this is so delicious," Joseph said closing his eyes, savoring the amazing taste of the chocolate.

Paul also tasted the chocolate. "Hhmm. I can already see heaven. I want more. I WANT MORE!!!" Both of them dug into the blissful chocolate fountain like there is no tomorrow.

"Lookie here, a chocolate fountain with its chocolate guards." a girl said with a sweet little voice. She is about their age. She's wearing a yellow dress with a flowery design. She caught Joseph and Paul's attention.

"We're not chocolate guards Sylvia." Joseph corrected.

"Oh, it's you guys. You two are too subtle for me to be able to see you there," she said smiling.

"It's okay Syl, it's not your fault anyway," Paul said.

"Oh come on P, she just called us chocolate guards." Joseph protested.

"It's not a big deal you know." Paul shrugged.

"I'm just greeting you two. And it seems like you don't want to be friends with me anymore," she said then tears slid on her cheeks.

"Hey, hey Syl. Don't cry, shush now." Joseph said to calm down Sylvia. It's like he is trying everything he could to calm her but failed.

"No, I have to go to mommy." she continued crying. Then she walked away.

"It's your fault that Sylvia cried, Joseph." Paul blamed Joseph. Is this what friends do?

"Shut up Paul, why don't you just help me calm her instead of blaming me." Joseph retorted annoyingly.

"Pssshhh." that's all Paul replied. But when he turned to Joseph he's not there. My, my, where is he? Twenty feet away from where Paul is standing he saw Joseph chasing Sylvia.

Joseph's P.O.V.

Rubbish Paul, what's up with him? Blaming it all to me. "Tch." Now I have to apologize to Sylvia, so I chased her. It seems like she's still crying. Heh, weak.

I grabbed her left arm to make her stop walking.

"Let go!" she said.

"Syl, listen to me." I said.

"Why should I?" she replied.

"I need to tell you something." I said.

She did not say anything she just stared at me waiting. Oooh, what am I going to say, I don't know how to apologize. And when I do, I feel so embarrassed.

"Okay, this is it, keep it together Joseph." I said to myself. Breath in, breath out. ~Hooh~

"I-ah, I want to say, uhhh."

"What?" she asked, her tears still streaming down her cute cheeks.

"Uuhh, I want to tell you that- I mean..."

"He wants to tell you that he's sorry." Paul interrupted.

"Shut up!" I told him, he's so annoying sometimes. He got the habit of interrupting somebody's talk.

Third person's P.O.V.

"We can let him or her decide if he or she wants to be a good or an evil demon. The prophecy did not say something if he or she will be so it is either of those two. If we want no destruction, we shall guide this child to a good path." Queen Istell said with a gentle voice.

"Who are we going to guide this child?" Pag asked the queen.

The Queen went silent, seems like she's in deep thought. The council is waiting for the Queen's response. No one dared to speak or even complain about what she said lately. This is the time where the queen will make her decision.

A moment later, the snapped out with a decision. and her decision is...

With a grin, she said, "Them."

Everybody is in the stage of shock.

Back in the Kingdom, the people of Fantaxia are still celebrating. They continued dancing, eating, and enjoying every bit of the celebration.

Suddenly, an assemblage of weird and creepy creatures went inside the grand ballroom.

With the use of their long and sharp nails, they scratched and scratched, stabbed, and stabbed everyone in their sight.

Everyone panicked as fear crawling in their spine. They screamed at the top of their lungs. They tried to run but they were caught, they tried to hide but they were found. There's no escape for them to survive.

Paul looked for his family, he's crying. His face is filled with terror. At the corner of the room, he spotted five of the creatures surrounding a group of people. "Paul!" a woman's scream echoed. "Paul!" and again. "Paul! Where are you?" and again.

"Mother?" Paul said in a heavy breath.

"Mom!" he shouted, looking around.

"Paul, where are you?!" his mother screamed again but this time with fear on her voice.

"Mother, Mother!"

"Mom! I'm right here!"

"Mom! Mom!" he keeps on shouting, calling for her mom.

He can't stop himself from crying. Paul can't find his family, all he can find are dead bodies, blood, and deadly creatures. It's like a huge blood bath in the middle of a grand celebration.

He spotted a boy at his age crawling with all his might, he is wounded. Paul approached him then he noticed it was Joseph.

"Joseph, God your hurt. Where's Sylvia?" he asked Joseph.

"She's under that table-" he paused and took a deep breath.

"must-hurry," Joseph said barely letting his words escape.

He helped Joseph so that they can both go to where Sylvia is. But a large hand caught his arms. Joseph fell, he arched in pain 'cause he hit the floor with his wounded shoulder.

Paul was dragged, he screamed to let him go but it did not work. He even tried to bite the creature's arms but did not work and it's so disgusting. Not far from them, he saw Joseph trying to get up but the creature is at his back with its claws up in the air.

"Joseph! Behind you!" he shouted.

Before Joseph could notice the creature, it stabbed him as fast as lightning could be.

"No." he muttered. His best friend is dead.

Paul cried from the death of his best friend, everyone, and the pain these creatures brought to their kingdom. He realized that he haven't found his family yet. So he struggled from the tight grip.

"Behave child." the creature said. Such deadly voice, it's like giving you nightmares.

"Where is my family?!" he asked but still struggling from the grip.

"I said behave!" the creature hissed but it made Paul struggle more.

"Where are they?!" he shouted but the creature didn't answer instead he tightened the grip on Paul's arm. Paul groaned in pain as the creature's grip became tighter and tighter.

Before he could ask again, he was pushed at the front of the throne. A large man, no not a man but a demon that her mother tells during storytelling stood before the throne. He has a pair of large-pointy-horns, his skin is black as coal, sharp teeth pointy fingers like the others, and is wearing a large cloak that covers his body.

"So you are the child, a tiny, weak, and a wuss." he said. His voice is very low and deadly. Paul froze in fear, he did not look at him on the face instead he just sobbed under his voice.

He cannot forgive them, it's like there's a fire raging in his heart but cannot get out.
