You were working in the freezer part of the dairy aisle in your local supermarket when the lights of the store go out.

You stumble around for the power console for the freezer as you could not see shit. That's when you trip on a box into a random door thinking that is the exit since the store has no light and when you fall through, you see that you are falling from ten feet in the air. *The woman screaming runs away and by now there is a group of animals around you*

I was walking to my car after going to the store to find a group of gang-members beating on someone. I decided to wait till they were gone to see what happened because if I interfered, They would have killed me. When they left I entered the alleyway to see a sexy, muscular man on the floor bleeding out from head to toe. I decided to get him to the hospital. After the human was emitted to the hospital I decided to sleep here for the night because I have nobody waiting for me.

Your POV

You woke up to be in a hospital bed. You tried to sit up to only wince in pain and scream because of this. This also causes the stranger from before to wake up from a nap. And you notice that all that you are wearing were boxers.

???: You awake!

You: Who are you?

???: I am Alice. What is your name?

You: Y/N. And where am I, please don't say that I am in a hospital tell me where I am.

Alice: You are in Chicago.

You: Why are there no other humans?

Alice: There are no more humans because the was a mutagen bomb explosion that affected the entire planet and all humans became anthropomorphic animals. It is permanent so even those born after the explosion became an animal.
