the blue light fades away as do the bodies of my newfound family.
"why would you do this?? what did i do to you!?" i yell, only to hear my voice echoing for what seems like forever
"peter," ego's voice echoes throughout my subconscious "you have to do this? join me and we can rule the world"
"NO" i yell " YOU CAN'T DO THIS! please dont hurt her. i love her. i love them all." i say with my voice cracking at the end.
"Peter what's wrong?"
suddenly i snap out of it
"gamora? i thought you were dead?" i say with visible confusion "ego -ego killed you! and rocket and drax and groot and yondu and everyone! he turned you into battery's and forced me to join him! i-i i thou-"
"peter it's okay, i'm here now. he can't hurt you, or me or anyone." Gamora said with her reassuring voice "when rocket gets here we'll have him bomb his central core while he's sleeping and we can get out of here. it's okay now we are all safe." she said and she hugged me.
"we should get ready, are you up for that?" she asked
"of course!" i said with a smile i knew was fake.
