I petted Geno until he calms down, and eventually fall asleep. I grabbed the scarf that I threw on the floor when we went home and used it as a blanket for him. That was... Kinda nice. I soon fell asleep as well. And, when I woke up, it was the morning. And from what I could hear, no one woke up either yet. I looked at Geno, and he wasn't here anymore. Maybe he went to check on the brothers ? I left the couch and looked in the bedroom. The three of them were here. I started to think if I should wake them up or not. But I didn't really have to think of the pro and cons...
"H... Human ?" Called a low voice, groaning. "What... What time is it ?"
I looked at the clock above the TV. "It's....9 AM. I need to go to the vet with Waffle. You're in charge. If ANYONE tries to ente--"
"We'll hide. Obviously. I didn't flee humans without knowing how to hide and escape traps." His voice sounded annoyed as he answered.
I took Waffle with me and went down the apartment, making her jump in the car. She wasn't as scared as the other animals apparently. I drove to the vet without any problem. Waffle was REALLY calm. She has always been like that. A calm dog, that's... Nice. I entered the vet's cabinet, waiting for my turn. Then the vet called me in.
Waffle was still really chill. The vet did some.... Things ? Actually, I have no idea was they were doing. But, it looked like they knew what they were doing ? After a few minutes, the vet finally spoke to me.
"She's all fine. But she might still need some rest." They informed.
"Okay."
You took all the papers, including the bill for the vet and left with Waffle, who seemed really tired. The night as been pretty long. We didn't really do anything yesterday.... Did we ? Maybe I was half asleep and forgot ?
Whatever, that's not important.
As I drove back home, the traffic was a mess. How can traffic become that jammy in ONE HOUR ?? After a good 30 minutes, I could finally see the end of it. Thankfully. I had the opportunity to drive back home without any problem.
"I'm home !" You informed as you walked back to your apartment.
But no one responded.
