"Holy shit ! kio come and help me !" I yelled running off to take a broom and a floorcloth to clean everything with kio's help. I went to grab a trash bag to put everything in it. Then rushed to see if they were in the water, conclusion : THEY WEREN'T.
"What's happening ??" She asked both worried and confused.
"They disappeared ! They're not here, THEY VANISHED !" I panicked.
"Wow, hey, caaalm down. You won't do anything by being so..... Y'know. Panicked ?" She said as she made me sit on the couch.
"I know but-- WHERE DID THEY GO ?"
"They're still in the apartment. I'm sure they're fine, don't worry."
I looked at her unimpressed. "You literally tried to look in the whole village to look for your dog AT 10 AM, IN PAMAJAS !"
"True. Okay you win. Just calm down. Breath, and caaalm down."
I listened and calmed down a little. Once I was feeling as good as I could, I went back to the bathroom. It was in better shape than when I first opened it at least... I wonder if...
"Guys ? Are you in here ?" No answer. I then looked at kio. "Hey, isn't it weird we didn't hear anything ?"
"Well, we did yell and laughed really loudly." She shrugged.
That's... True. "Oh god. What am I gonna do ?"
"We can change that movie night into searching night ?"
"We don't really have a choice." I answer, swearing I heard someone being annoying.
We looked for a while, in total silence.
"Oh, by the way Tsu, there's something I wanted to ask you."
"Is it really important ?"
"Considering how poor my common knowledge is, yes. Um, you told me... You told me you're going to keep the bitties until they're fully healed, right ? Aren't they already ?"
"Oh. Pupy and KittyCat are, but Geno still needs a few days of recovery. But, yes, I'll let them go." I answered, still looking around.
"Do you want to ?" I stopped. "Because you sure seem happy to have them around."
"I.... I don't want to let them go... But... I can't just keep them against their will ! That'd be.... A toxic relationship. And, I could still see them after work, right ?" I asked, not really wanting an answer.
She sighed. "Look. I'm sure you can talk it out with them. Even if, as you said, Geno is super stubborn. I'm sure the two kids are super happy to be here with you. I mean, who wouldn't ?"
I kept Staring at the floor.
What would I do if I never see them again ? I can't just REPLACE them, right ?
