ONE-SIDED LOVE
Yoongi x Jungkook
I.
There is a disease called Hanahaki Disease. The disease will grow if the said person suffered from one-sided love. There's a boy named Jungkook. A young , lively and cute boy. And there's also a guy named Yoongi , a guy who would do anything for Jungkook. They are childhood friends. They always spend time together, like they would never let go of each other. Yoongi liked the younger's presence. Most of the time they go near the seaside to watch the sea, they enjoy watching the sunset and the sunrise.
As for now, Jungkook and Yoongi were laying down on the grass, staring up at the dark yet full of tiny stars sky. The cool breeze makes them feep relaxed, a smile on jungkook's face is seen as he looked at the sky.
"Hyung?" Jungkook called out. The elder turned his gaze to the younger. Jungkook started to talk about random things , he stared at him as he talks , staring at his cute and beautiful features. Jungkook is the most beautiful thing that he's ever seen. Little did he know that he's already inlove. He just dont want to admit it.
"Are you listening?" Jungkook suddenly asked, making yoongi go back to his senses. "I'm sorry- what is it?" Jungkook only stared at him in disbelief , he already said a lot but the elder isn't listening.
"i said.. I want to travel the whole world with you!" Jungkook chuckles then stares at the sky again. "i'd like to see the whole world with you" Jungkook added with a smile on his face. Yoongi only smiles then nodded "We'll go see the whole world soon, kook"

As Jungkook grew up, he kept that scene on his head. Not trying to forget it. The desire of seeing the whole world with his hyung is really strong. He wanted that so much. The only reason why he told that to yoongi, is because he doesnt want to let go of him. He loved Yoongi from the very start. He knows that to himself. He fell inlove with yoongi every single day. He sometimes wonder, does yoongi loves him back?
Months has passed, there's no sign of yoongi showing his love to Jungkook romantically. That made Jungkook sad but also happy, because Yoongi is still with him. Jungkook and Yoongi became really close. And when Yoongi is not around, the younger always longs to see him. He gets terribly sad whenever he's not around. His Love for yoongi keeps growing and he also keeps hoping for the other guy to love him back.
One night, Jungkook and Yoongi went back to the place where they always watch the stars at night. Jungkook has something to do. Something that he wants to say but he, himself always holds him back. They quietly stared at the night sky , it was so calm and relaxing yet the stars are not seen because of the clouds, maybe a rain is coming.
"Should we go back now?" The elder asked. "The rain is about to fall" he said as he stands up. Jungkook nods , standing up as well. His lips is quivering , as if it really wants to say something. Yoongi started to walk , Jungkook is still having second thoughts, still hesitating. He wanted to say it.
"H-hyung!" He called, making Yoongi stopped walking. Yoongi turned his gaze on the looking-nervous young boy.
"I-i love you" Those words suddenly slipped out of Jungkook's mouth, he's even shocked that he said it. He finally said it. There's a short silence but then Yoongi showed him a smile , a smile that Jungkook loved.
"I love you too , kook" Jungkook's eyes widened. "R-really?" He asked. Yoongi lets out a chuckle then ruffled Jungkook's hair " Of course! You're my friend"
'Friend? Yeah. I'm just a friend' Jungkook said to himself. He smiles a little.
"N-no. I love you more than that"

After that, Yoongi started to ignore Jungkook. They dont see each other anymore. That made Jungkook anxious. Yoongi doesn't love him back. After his confession, Yoongi only left. Leaving Jungkook under the rain. On the other side, Yoongi felt so stupid. He started to hate himself. He loves Jungkook. But he just dont want to admit it. He's too scared for no reason. He decided to distance himself from the younger. Too embarrased because of what he had done.
Today's the 3rd week of yoongi, not showing up. Jungkook now believed that Yoongi dont loved him anymore.
"He hasn't showed up. He hates me.."
He mumbled to himself, a bitter smile is visible on his face. Jungkook chuckles then coughs , a blue petal of flower came out. "where did this came from? That's weird"
He didn't know that something bad will happen. Jungkook's cough keeps on going. Every cough, a flower petal came out. He decided to open the window of his room to get some fresh air. Everyday, he cant breathe properly, it's like something is stuffed in his lungs.
As soon as he opened the window, He saw the man that he always longed to see. The man that he loves so much. But.. Yoongi only looked at him then left. That made Jungkook sick, he cant breathe. Is it because he is really sad? Or is it because of the cough? Why is he coughing flowers?
The last thing that Jungkook saw was a blue flower. He started to throw up Flowers. The blue flower were supposed to represent unattainable love. Soon , flower petal filled his airways.
The only way that can remove it is through surgery. But once removed , the feelings and love for the person you longed will be removed too.
Jungkook refused.

Yoongi is now on Jungkook's funeral. He is terribly sad about what happened. He distanced himself so that he can think about it. He only realized that he loved Jungkook when he's already dead. Yoongi hates himself because of that.
With teary eyes and tight chest, he placed a flower. Praying for Jungkook to rest in peace. He should've told Jungkook that he has feelings for him too.
"I wish i told you sooner. "
