Slight spoilers to Hero's Rising, sorry?

Soulmate AU: You have a hot and cold meter on your wrist that tells you how hot (near) or cold (far) your soulmate is.
————————————————————————
I lived on a little island called Nabu Island, and my soulmate mark was always on cold, so it surprised me when suddenly I wake up and the marker is slightly pushed up from the bottom to show I was the tiniest bit closer to my soulmate.

I quickly jumped out of bed to asked my parents if there was any new people on the island. "No, not that I can recall... you would think it'd be the talk of the century here knowing someone new moved in." My mother responded to me as she sat at the table waiting for my dad to finish cooking breakfast.

"Actually, I heard that they are having some kids from UA high school help out with the hero work over here for some training." My dad said from the kitchen. "Ooh, you might be soulmates with a pro hero!" My mother said, teasing me. "Or one of their siblings!" My father called back from the kitchen, making my mother laugh.

"After lunch you should introduce yourselves to them, maybe you'll find your soul mate!" My mother suggested. "Ehh... I don't know." I said, finally sitting down at the table as my dad brought mine and my mother's plate over. "Oh, don't be shy." My mom laughed. The day continued as normal. I had breakfast, went to school, came home. I was honestly to scared to go introduce myself to the heros because I didn't want to get my hopes up.

Eventually, after studying for god knows how long, my mother called me downstairs. I walked downstairs to find her and my dad hold plates with food on them. "Here dear, take a plate, we're going to go down to the hero agency and thank the people working over there!" My mother said, handing me two of the pies she cooked. "O-Okay..." i stuttered out.

As we walked out of the house we met Mrs.Nancy, who was also carrying food for the UA student. "You know," my mother began once they started talking. "(Y/N)'s soulmate mark finally moved!" Mrs.Nancy gasped. "Does that mean that her soul mate could be-!" She pauses mid thought as my mother nodded her head proudly. "A future pro hero!" She finished Mrs.Nancy's thought.

They both then started to talk about how wonderful it is that I would have someone to protect me. It felt like centuries of embarrassment, but we eventually met up with the rest of the village at the hero agency and gave everyone the food.

I gave the two pies I was carrying to a brown haired girl with pink cheeks. "Oh my god! Thank you so much!" She squealed at the pies, making me laugh. "Please don't thank me, my parents were the ones that made them." I told her, brushing off her comment with a smile and a wave.

Suddenly she gasped, which made me open my eyes and give her a worried look. "Is something wrong?" I asked. "Have you met your soulmate?" She asked. "Oh, um no. Why do you ask?" She gave me a giant smile. "Because i know someone who has the same soul mate mark as you!"

She quickly grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me over to a male with two toned hair. "Todoroki!" She yelled, causing the male to turn to her. "Yes?"

"Can you show me your soulmate mark?" The bubbly girl asked. The "todoroki" guy didn't say anything, but rolled up his sleeve to find that his marker was all the way at red hot. The pink girl then put my arm next to the male and compared them.

After finding out that our soulmate marks matched she started to float out of excitement. "I'm Shoto Todoroki." The two toned male said, making me tear my eyes away from the floating female. "(Y/N) (L/N)." I told him.
