"Remind me why I was dragged to the market again?" the tired hero grumbled, drawing in the attention of his extremely loud companion.
Hizashi threw his cardigan clad arm over onto the other, dramatic. "But Shouta!" he yelled. "What could be more fun more important than hanging out with your bestest friend!" "Sleep." Shouta cut in, shrugging off the arm around him, "or if I had to pick 'more important' than I'd have to say that it would be to finish grading papers and gong on patrol. Just because it's the weekend doesn't mean that we can slack off." He glared, readjusting his capture weapon.
Pouting, the blonde man stopped and fully turned to his friend, hands on his hips. "Oh come on! A single day of no work- teacher or hero wise- isn't gonna hurt-" a small being rammed into both Hizashi and Shouta, forcing them to stumble a bit.
Looking down revealed a shaking young girl with silver hair tied in two messy pigtails and a single small horn on her head.
She watched them, her eyes filled with both a mix of fear and relief as she clung onto them. She asked "A-are you real heroes?"
Shouta sent the other a look.

Overhaul released a sigh, muffled behind his mask.
He removed the glove off of his right hand, the smacking sound resonated throughout the deep, dingy, dirty, disgusting alley.
"Now.." the smaller lowly thug shivered, "where is she?" Overhaul inquired, cold eyes piercing the two low lives before him.
A suffocating silence surrounded them all for a few seconds before the larger of the two pathetic rats thugs squawked out a terrified "W-who?" Voice cracking from the tension and pressure bearing down onto him.
Eyes narrowing, Overhaul let out a soft "tch'd'.
Within the blink of an eye, he had one's face in his grasp and the other a fresh amputee.
"G-gyaaaaah!"
The bigger thug bellowed, stumbling away a few feet. Pain coursing through him.
Tightening his grip, Overhaul bared down at the small thug. "Now," he began, tone leaving no room to argue."Where. Is. Eri?"

Shouta acted first, crouching down to the child's height. He said "Yeah we're heroes, kid. What do you need?" Hizashi followed in the position.
The girl fidgeted, messing with the clips of her bunny overalls. "I-I lost my papa.." She mumbled. "I was with him here walking aroun'. I saw fishies an' I wan' to see the pretty fishies a-an' bef-f-o-ore I-I kn-now-w it, p-papa wa-was gone."
Throughout her account, her eyes welled with tears and her voice becoming more shaky.
Children crying isn't a specialty of Shouta's but that didn't mean he hadn't dealt with it before. He placed a hand on the child's head gently, patting it repeatedly in a hopefully soothing manner. "It's alright, kid. I'm sure your dad's just as worried and is lookin' for you as we speak." His loud companion added "Yeah, little listener! I'm sure your pops is workin' hard to find ya!"
The reassurance seemed to help as the girl wiped her eyes while cracking a small, shaky smile. It dropped as soon as it appeared as she said "Th-there was t-two scary men before that' I-I had met. They were not very nice."
Eyebrows raised, Shouta couldn't say that he was all that surprised. In his younger years he'd been involved with many cases of kids grabbed in broad daylight. Still, he had to ask "I'm surprised and grateful that you're trusting us after such an encounter." "Ah, y-you both have nice energy. You also give me a lot of the s-same as p-papa, just a b-bit more sleepy." She said, keeping her eyes locked with his.
Hizashi snickered at the comparison, acting as the cause to the effect. Shouta shoved him over.

Slipping on a fresh pair of gloves, Overhaul fixed himself up as best he could with not being home. "Thank you for your cooperation." he said, echoing around.
Turning, he slowly started onto his trek to get to the entrance of the, now, blood soaked alleyway.
