chapter 14: luck

I sat in the cell waiting for someone to come and bail us out. I fell asleep on the cold bed. They woke us up at 5 and made us go outside and dig. Well they made the boys do that. They made the girls make baskets and crafts like soap and deodarent. I made 5 soaps 10 baskets and 22 deodarents. The prison needed deodarent. They got my up and talked to me and told me that they belive i was a good person and that i can get anyone out of here with me. Of course i chose hunter and i to get out. We got out and they kicked us on the street. We walked and went to the city. We were in the ghetto part. I had no shoes so hunter carried me all around. He knew everyone here. We go to the bridge when we heard a shot. I fell of. He turned around and helped me up. I gasped and fell into hunters arms as i saw a dead 16 year old with a cigarette in his mouth. I cried a little bit and the guy held the gun up to me and hunter next. I looked behind him as clarissa showed up and tackled him, and he fell over the bridge and hit his head on a rock and died. Clarissa had the gun and threw it to me. I caught it and put it in my pocket.
