Chapter 4: Drugs Coincidence

As the next day has came, Catie woke up and she realized that she had slept with Jason. Jason woke up and said, "Morning honey pie." Catie said, "I think I should go." Catie got up and almost walk towards the door. Jason got up as he walk up right in front of Catie to block her way to the door and Catie can't get out. Catie asked, "What are you doing?" Jason said, "I needed you." Catie said, "Jason, I have to go home and I can't stay here." Jason said, "Baby please, I want you to stay with me and I want you to be with me. You know how much that I still love you and I just want you so bad." Catie said, "Jason, I know you do but I have to go home and I will see you at school on Monday." Jason said, "Okay. You're not going to tell anyone about us having sex from last night and I just want to know." Catie asked, "What happened from last night?" Jason said, "We had sex from last night and you were great." Catie asked, "Is that what happened?" Jason said, "Yeah and you were just tired after we were watching Love Daily at the time." Catie said, "I guess I was but I guess having sex wasn't too bad." Jason said, "That's why we wanted to keep this as a secret from Desi and you know that." Catie said, "I guess so and I better get going." Jason said, "Okay and you won't tell Desi about our secret." Catie asked, "Why would I ever tell him that?" Jason said, "I was just asking and I didn't want you to have your feelings hurt." Catie said, "I guess you're right and I would never tell him that we had a secret affair." Jason said, "You're the best Catie bug." Jason got out of Catie's way and Catie opens the door. She walks out of the bedroom and walks downstairs. Lori said, "Hey Catie." Catie said, "Hey Lori." Lori said, "You want to stay here for breakfast." Catie said, "I can't and I have to go home." Lori said, "Sweetie, you haven't look too good when we saw you." Jason came out of his bedroom and Mercedes came downstairs. Jackson came downstairs and Jason did too. Catie said, "I'm fine." Lori said, "You need help." Catie said, "I don't know what you're talking about." Mercedes asked, "Have you been eating lately?" Catie said, "No." Jason asked, "When did this happened?" John came in to the house and asked, "What's going on?" Catie said, "I can't say this and I really have to go." Catie starts walking out the door and walking home. Jason said, "You don't think Catie's parents made her not eat the food." Mercedes said, "Poor Catie." Jackson said, "We have to help her and she looks really sick." Jason said, "I should've known that she looks sick and I could've helped her." Lori said, "I know, honey but she has to do something and please go find her." Jason said, "I'm on it." John said, "Take her to Malt Shop and that will help her." Jason said, "You got it, Dad." Jason ran out of the house and went after Catie. Catie opens the door and her parents are at work. Jason came all the way to Catie and said, "Catie." Catie turns around and she saw Jason. Catie asked, "What are you doing here?" Jason said, "Catie, I'm going to take you to Malt Shop and you don't look too good." Catie said, "I don't want to go." Jason said, "Catie bug, you can't do this to yourself and you're going to die." Catie turns away and she walks in to the house. Jason came in to the house and Catie walks in to the kitchen. Jason follows Catie to the kitchen and he saw a note. Jason read the note for Catie and it was really unacceptable for Catie have to go through it.

Catie,

We're going to work and I hope you had fun at the party. Oh and by the way, don't mess with the food that we made from last night which is hamburgers.

Jason felt so hurt and angry all of the same time. Catie said, "You see why that I'm not allowed to eat and they'll catch me for eating." Jason said, "No. No. No. No. No. I can't let this happen to you and I'll give this note to my dad. You're going to Malt Shop with me and let's go." Jason took the note with him and Catie said, "Okay." They both walked out of the house and Jason shuts the door. They both walked back to Jason's house and Jason said, "Dad, this is the note from Catie's parents and I think that will explains everything why Catie looks sick." Jason gave the note to John and John grabs it. Lori, Mercedes, John, and Jackson read the note about why Catie isn't allowed to eat. John looks at Catie and said, "We'll get to the bottom of this and Jason, you better take Catie to Malt Shop." Jason said, "Let's go, Catie." Catie said, "Alright." Catie and Jason walks out of the house as they walk to Malt Shop. They both sat down and they decided to order something together. Jason said, "It was our favorite food together." Catie looks at the menu and she saw her favorite French Toast Sticks. Jason said, "We used to eat French Toast so much together but it was a lot of fun." Catie said, "I know and I want one." Jason said, "Okay and we can have one together." Polly came over to Jason and Catie. Polly said, "Hello. What can I give you guys today?" Jason said, "We'll have French Toast Sticks and orange juice." Polly said, "Coming right up." Polly walks away and Catie said, "I feel like it's our old days again." Jason said, "Oh yeah and I missed you a lot since I left." Catie said, "I missed you too." Catie almost kiss Jason and Jason looks away. Catie looks at Jason and said, "Sorry." Jason looks at Catie and said, "It's fine." Catie feels awful for almost kissing Jason and she really wanted to test Jason if she really loves him. Catie said, "I'll never be happy again and it's like I feel the pain in me." Jason said, "I know that you wanted me but I just don't know if you really are in love with me." Catie said, "Just stick around and you're probably missing all of the fun." Jason said, "I think you are getting me started." Catie said, "I think Desi has been busy lately and I guess that's why he hasn't text me at all." Jason said, "You'll be just fine and you probably have so much fun from the party." Catie said, "I feel happy and seeing you is the best thing ever." Catie lay her head on Jason's left shoulder and Jason felt happy. Jason said, "I'm glad that you see me again and I was worrying about you." Catie said, "Don't leave me." Jason said, "I won't leave you again and I'm staying with you." Polly came over and brought their drinks. Polly said, "Here's your drinks and the food is almost ready." Polly put their orange juices on the table and walks away. Jason said, "Baby girl, you're the only one who has to get some help and you can't just scare me like that about you not eating." Catie said, "I just feel like they're treating me awful and I have to do all of their work." Jason asked, "What about paying their bills and going to the bank?" Catie said, "I had to do them and they told me to clean the house or else they'll kick the bucket over by letting me redoing the floor or dropping their food." Jason said, "Oh my God." Catie said, "Yeah and I can't even eat because they labeled their names in the refrigerator to know the food belongs to them." Jason said, "This is making me sick and you need to move out soon." Catie said, "I will and I try working things out with my parents but I don't know what went wrong." Jason said, "No worries, Catie bug and I'll protect you from your parents." Catie said, "Stay with me." Jason said, "I wish I could but I just can't." Catie said, "I know and I'm glad for what we did was the first time for anything." Jason said, "Me too love." Polly got their French Toast sticks and said, "Here you guys go and enjoy your breakfast." Polly walks away and Jason is happy to have Catie to hang out with him like old days. Catie grabbed a French Toast stick and she was starting to eat. Jason is watching her eating and he saw bruises on her arms. Catie is happy to see herself eating again and Jason asked, "What are those bruises on your arms for?" Catie stops eating and she looks at Jason. Catie said, "It's nothing." Jason said, "Tell me baby girl." Catie said, "I can't tell you because I will get in trouble by my parents." Jason asked, "Is there something that you want to tell me about this?" Jason got his cell phone out and he was recording for what Catie is saying. Catie said, "I know that you want to know about the bruises on my arms and I told you that I'm fine." Jason said, "Baby, you're not fine and tell me about the bruises." Catie said, "My dad caught me during the middle of the night and I was so hungry to have some food. He went over to the drawer as he got the spoon out." The people are hearing the conversation about Catie and her parents. Malt Shop workers, boss, and staffs are hearing about this as they were watching them. Jason asked, "Was it a wooden spoon or metal spoon?" Catie said, "It was a metal spoon. You know, big metal spoon." Jason asked, "What did your dad do to your arms after he caught you?" Catie starts breaking down into tears and sobs, "My dad slapped the metal spoon really hard on my both arms more than four times and he told me not to tell anyone or else he will keep on hurting me with a metal spoon." The whole customers, staffs, boss, and workers are in shocked to hear what Catie said. Jason asked, "What else did he do to you?" Catie sobs, "When I was trying to have some food, my parents take my food away and they made me eat burnt toast and other pieces of food that are burnt." Jason asked, "Why would they do this to you?" Catie sobs, "They don't want me and they just want me to be a slave." Catie starts crying so hard and Jason put the phone down. Jason hugs Catie so much and everyone else are so hurt to see Catie to go through this. The next two days as Catie went to school without eating breakfast and Jason is waiting for Catie. Desi is at the boys bathroom and Catie came over to Jason. Jason said, "Cate, you feeling alright." Catie looks up at Jason and Jason saw the bruises on Catie's face. Jason asked, "What happened, baby?" Catie said, "My dad slapped me in face for not letting me eat breakfast and I can't go on like this anymore. I have got to get out of my house and I need you." Jason said, "I need you too baby and you'll be out of the house soon. Just hang on tight and stay safe." Catie said, "I tried everything and I want you." Jason said, "I know, baby and I will make sure that you won't be with your parents." Catie said, "Please, stay with me." Jason said, "I will, baby girl and you're the only one that I loved." Catie and Jason both hugged tight without letting go. During the afternoon, Desi putting his jacket in his locker and Jason is at the boys locker room hiding. Desi shuts the locker door and he walks out of the boys locker room. Jason came behind of the other boys locker room and he went over to Desi's locker. Jason opens Desi's locker door and he grabbed steroids out of his pocket. Jason put steroids in Desi's locker and he shuts the door. Jason walks out of the boys locker room and went to tell the police that Desi has steroids in his locker. While at the field, Catie is working on her story and the police officers came over to take Desi to the office. Mrs. Maple came over to Desi and said, "You're coming with us." Desi asked, "What did I do? Am I in trouble?" Mrs. Maple said, "We'll discuss this at the office." Jason came over to Catie and Catie looking at Desi with Mrs. Maple and the police officers. Catie asked, "What's going on?" Jason said, "I don't want you to worry about Desi and he's not the type of guy that you should date." Catie said, "I guess maybe I should just work on my story." Jason sat down right next to Catie and asked, "What kind of story that you're working on?" Catie said, "Romance story and it's not finish just yet." Jason said, "You should let me read it and I will probably make out with you to be one of your characters." Catie said, "Oh Jason." Catie put her laptop down and she kiss Jason so much. Jason couldn't let go of the kissing and Catie quickly pulls away. Jason asked, "What's wrong?" Catie said, "I have to go." Catie closed her laptop and she got up as she picks up her laptop then, she walks away. Jason wants to know what's troubling Catie and he will find out what it is. Meanwhile at the office, Desi is at the office with Mrs. Maple and the police officers. Desi asked, "What the hell is going on here?" Mrs. Maple said, "We received anonymous tip that you were selling steroids to your friends." Desi said, "I can't possibly doing this to anyone and I didn't do it." Mrs. Maple said, "Oh so, you are sober as you think you were and I don't think you are." Desi asked, "Are you saying that I'm a drug dealer in this college?" Mrs. Maple said, "It's possible that you are and you might be dealing that to your girlfriend." Desi said, "No way. Someone is setting me up and I know that my girlfriend would never do anything like that." Mrs. Maple said, "In the mean time, you are entirely suspended due to the steroids and you're getting arrested at this time." Desi said, "You mean that I'm getting arrested after someone is setting me up." Mrs. Maple nods her head yes and said, "Zero tolerance." Desi got up and the police officer handcuffed Desi. The police officers and Desi walks out of the office. Jason walks over to the abandoned grocery store that is right next to the abandoned candy store. Jason got in to the car with Nick and he got the envelope of the pictures of Catie as he handed them to Nick. Jason said, "Here they are, Nick and this is what you ask for." Nick took the pictures out of the envelope and he look through the pictures of Catie but nothing that he ask Jason to do. Nick asked, "What am I looking for?" Jason said, "This is what you're asking me for." Nick said, "No it's not, Jason and you should know something about your ex girlfriend that she stole anything from the store or selling drugs to everyone around the campus." Jason said, "My ex doesn't steal anything nor she ever selling drugs." Nick said, "Your ex girlfriend passed out by drugs and this is why I want Catie to get arrested." Jason said, "Catie didn't passed out on drugs and she never took any drugs in her life." Nick said, "Yes she did and I know that she took Benzedrine for her weight but she ended passed out." Jason said, "Catie isn't going to jail but her parents will and you can't just questioned me about what I'm doing." Nick said, "You're not doing anything because you just want to be with ex girlfriend like it's your big break from me and I'm not paying you anymore." Jason looks at Nick and said, "You're firing me." Nick said, "Yes you're fired and you just don't understand about Catie." Jason said, "She's my ex girlfriend and she understands me all too well. She's really beautiful and -" Nick scoffs and said, "You're obsessed with her." Jason grabs his knife out of his pocket and said, "We both are but the only difference is that one of us kills." Jason stabbed Nick in the stomach and Nick was trying to stay alive. Jason pulls the knife out and he got out of the car. Nick's eyes are open as he stop his breathing but he was pronounced dead and Jason is now free away from Nick.
