Chapter one (Proligue)

Escape

Korra wailed in pain as red lotus members zapped her in the electric chair. Every inch of her body went numb after a few minutes. She had given up.

" Ten minuets, not bad." Zaheer Said in amusement. He was a bit surprised due to the fact that the last seven shocks lasted around six minutes.  "How do you feel?" He asked.

Korra chuckled darkly "Like nothing."

In the position Korra was in... there wasn't much she could do or say. Being strapped to a chair and getting shocked multiple times a day...

Her torture was suppose to make her ability to bend stronger. They'd sometimes strap her into a large box filled with ice and water. They'd leave her there for 12 hours every 4 to 7 days.

After 5 years of torture Korra had enough. A year ago, the red lotus finally perfected their experiment. A human, able to bend all four elements and increase their power with the 'avatar state'. They had trained her to become the most powerful being, a weapon...

Korra was locked in a big compound. Allowed to go out only during training. She memorized every route out. After planning her escape over the past 8 months, she was ready. She noted the guards pattern, there was always a 10 second delay on when the next patrol would come.

One day during training, she tried escaping for the first time. She threw flames and giant gusts of wind. Knocked some of the red lotus members out. Eventually metal wires wrapped around her pinning her down.

She left weird patterns on the wires that the guards didn't take notice. Once back in her cell, hand cuffed, she bent the cuffs rather easily. She practiced the skill in her cell time.

Korra:

'Tonight's the night I escape'

My last escape was straight on fighting but no matter how strong I was, they out numbered me. So this time I acually planned every move.

I bent the chains and lock. I waited for the guards to pass and lightly pushed the door. I fire bent the next patrol unconscious and hid their bodies. While I took one of their uniforms. It was a red robe with shoulder and knee pads including a helmet.

I continued the guards patterns until I reached the exit. On my way I lost sync and alerted a patrol but I managed to knock the out with a strong gust of wind . When I made it to the front gate, I saw one of the red lotuses most loyal and skilled guards. I thought of multiple excuses but the one I chose made more sense. I walked up to him confidently "it's my shift ." The guard looked at me up and down. "My arnt you pretty sexy?" He commented in a flirty voice.

I sighed, " Sir it is my shift, I would like it if you move aside and hand me the key."

He looked at me for a few seconds. "Okay okay, though I'd like it if you'd stop by my dorm sometime. It gets pretty lonely and who knows.. things might get a little .. fun?"

He gave me the key and patted me on the shoulders.

Once there was no one around, I inserted the key and behold as the giant gate opened. Once I was out, the alarms went out. 'Oh shit!' The ground was earth at last, so I bent a tunnel before the guards came. The tunnel soon led to the ocean. 'Damn it!''
