I could get used to this.
I could get used to waking up next to the love of my life every morning,
I could get used to watching her little nose scrunch up when she stirs in between the sheets.
How peaceful she looks when her eyes are closed and her mind's in dreamland.
I wonder if she's dreaming of me?
The way she does little jumps of excitement when she thinks of going to the park,
Or how about the way her eyes sparkle and she starts drooling when she sees food.
I could totally get used to that.
I'm utterly, hopelessly, ridiculously head over heels for her.
For her heart, her puppy eyes, her pink lips, for everything she had to endure, everything she represents; hope, forgiveness, strength, love
And our future.
I hope I get the chance to get used to all of that.
I hope she says yes.
