Angel exits the imessage app and scrolls right to her apple music, hooking her phone up to the speaker in her room before turning on her favorite playlist. She smiles slightly as her favorite song by Olivia O'brien softly plays out of the speaker near her bed. Making her way towards the large closet at the end of her room she looks through a bunch of shirts before deciding on what to wear for the day, a sea blue and green dress with a matching hair band paired with green sandals.

She enters the bathroom connected to her bedroom so she could finish getting ready for the day with her best friend and his friends. She decides to leave her hair in its natural state which was already pretty straight all she did was slip the headband onto her head, making sure to pull it back a little to allow some of her hair to fall in the front. She proceeds to get dressed and even does a bit of light makeup consisting of mascara, blush, and chapstick.

Once she's done getting herself together she goes back to her room to confirm with jack that he was on his way to her house which happened to be slightly far from the deep city of LA. It doesn't take him long to respond and give her his current location, 5 minutes away from her house. She doesn't bother responding and goes to put on her shoes and grab the rest of her things before saying goodbye to her mother and walking out of the door to be welcomed by the warm california air and a 16 year old boy pulling into her long driveway.

"Hi dumbass" She giggles as jack exits the car and pulls her in for a hug. He playfully pushes her away before going to open the passenger door for her.

"Get in before we're late loser" Jack says with a smile. Angel enters the car and immediately takes the aux cord from his phone, going back to the playlist she was playing earlier.

"Okay wait can you please take my picture for instagram before we go" She asks, putting emphasis on the please. Jack rolls his eyes before taking the phone out of her hand and motioning for her to pose so that they could finally leave.

Jack took what seemed to be a hundred pictures before finally refusing to take anymore so that they were not late to hang with the rest of the group. The car ride lasted 40 minutes and the pair spent the majority of the ride listening to angel's music and making conversation.

"Do you think they'll like me?" Angel asked the curly haired boy, genuinely wondering if his close friend group would accept her with open arms. Angel suffered from anxiety and while meeting new people was somewhat fun she always felt that they would think she was weird or uninteresting.

"They're gonna love you ang, believe me" Jack said with a reassuring smile. He knew how angels mind would race when she was around unfamiliar people but he wanted her to feel as comfortable as possible around his friends.

Angel didn't respond to the boy, she simply leaned her head against the window and watched as they drove past cafes filled with people and busy streets packed with tourists and LA locals. They finally arrived to the "Urth Caffe" in downtown LA where the rest of jacks friends were waiting to have lunch with him and angel. Before exiting the car jack turned to the blonde girl looking at her carefully

"Are you ready?" He questioned, wanting to be sure that her anxiety wasn't getting the best of her. She nodded her head softly and gave him a smile, grabbing her bag and exiting the car followed by jack.

Entering the cafe they were immediately greeted by the hostess who was at the door to help customers. Jack informed they were looking for a large party of 8 which had already arrived. The women by the name of Anne kindly led them to the patio which was occupied by two large tables pushed together. The two teens heard laughter as they were led to a table seated with jacks friends who had arrived not too long ago.

"Hey guys!" Jack said as they approached the table full of teens. Angel smiled at them from behind jack, waving gently at the group in front of her

"Finally look who's here" A red haired girl said with a smile. Leaving her chair to hug jack and introduce herself to angel. "Hi i'm sophia and you must be angel"

"Hi it's so good to finally meet you!" Angel confessed to the girl who was slightly shorter than her "Jack talks about you guys all the time"

Sophia giggled at the girls response and led her to her spot at the table "We saved you a spot next to Finn" She said kindly as she pointed to a curly haired boy at the end of the table. Angel thanked her before taking her spot across from jack and next to the boy finn. The group of teens went around the table introducing themselves to angel before moving into conversation.

"So how'd you meet jack?" Wyatt asked from his spot next to jaeden.

"We were actually signed to the same agency when jack first started acting" The blonde confessed. "I originally wanted to be an actress but it wasn't for me so I switched to modeling and social media influencing"

The group talked for a couple more minutes before the waitress came and took everyones order and bringing them all a water until their drinks and food were finished. Angel got her usual which was the "new yorker" sandwich and a spanish latte which was her favorite drink at the caffe. As the waitress walked away with everyone's order, angel spoke up from her end of the table

"I just want to say thank you guys for being so welcoming, I didn't know what to expect coming into such a tight knit group of people but you guys are super nice" She gushed with a smile.

"No need to thank us angel" Finn said from beside her "It's actually nice to meet new people and to tell you the truth i'm kinda sick of these guys" He joked as the rest of the group pretended to be offended.

Angel giggled at his sarcasm as chosen playfully hit finn in his arm. The food came shortly after and the teens spent the rest of the time getting to know each other and enjoying the delicious food.
