Lost and Found

Chapter 17

-Zayn’s POV-

I didn’t sleep good last night. I just laid in bed and watched Nicole sleep. I almost lost her last night over something stupid. I had to get out of bed when the phone rang, careful not to make the still sleeping Nicole.

The caller ID showed up as Harry. “What do you want?” I asked angry for disturbing me.

“Chill out mate.” Harry muttered.

“Don’t tell me to chill out.” I spat back. I am really not a morning person.

“Look, I just wanted to call and tell you to get up here to Liam’s flat. The girls are here. Remember?”

“No.” I said coldly.”I mean yes.” Let’s just face the fact that I did something just like this while talking to Nicole the first few days.

“Umm sure. Just get up here man. You know how Liam gets.” Harry hung up the phone and didn’t let me reply. I walked back over to Nicole and shook her awake.

“Get up Nick.” She just flipped over. “Nicole now! I have breakfast made for you.” She mumbled again. “Hey Nick? Don’t make me get the boys to come wake you up.” I tried everything but Nicole was not moving. She has left me no choice.

I started to open the door and then thought that getting the boys might be a little harsh thinking about when they did it to me. I turned back around and walked back into the bedroom. I bounced onto the bed laying next to Nicole. I pushed her hair out of her face. “I have a surprise for you later so please get up.” I asked in the nicest tone I could.

“Fine, I will get up.” She gave me a play punch and ran into the bathroom to take a shower. I grabbed my clothes and keys and ran to Harry’s flat. I took a shower myself and did my hair like always. When I came back Nicole had her hair curled wearing skinny jeans, a red shirt, and a black leather jacket. She looked amazing as always.

“Toss me those heels.” She demanded sweetly. It snapped me out of my trance. I gave her the black high heels and grabbed my Obey snapback.

“Shall we?” I asked holding my hand out.

“We shall.” She took my hand and smiled at me. We walked up to Liam’s flat for breakfast.

Nicole finally got to properly meet Dani and Eleanor and she finally was not the only girl around. The plan was to go shopping and then take Nicole on a little date at the finest place in town. I was so excited.

Liam’s phone started to ring and he answered it casually. “Hi, Paul!”

Liam talked for a good ten minutes and once he stepped back into the kitchen I could tell he was worried. “What is it Lee?” Dani asked pulling him into a hug.

“We have to leave first thing in the morning.” He replied.

I was a bit annoyed. We were suppose to stay for a week more but I guess we have other plans now.  “Why?” I asked.

“Well um somebody is following us and um we are leaving for the US tomorrow. New York I believe.”

“Hey Nick? Why don’t you, Danielle,  El, Liam, and Louis go shopping and me, Harry, and Niall meet up later.” She looked confused but shook her head yes.

Niall looked a little scared “I think I should go with the others beca-“

“No Niall. You are coming with me.” I shouted back at him. I was not going to let him hang around Nicole if I wasn’t there because every time he does he falls over her like a lost puppy and then bad things happen.

Everybody knew what was going on except for Nicole. Little did she know that we were going on a date tonight and she was going to pick out a dress for tonight and a premiere for tomorrow. We had to go get me a new tux since I left mine back home and of course dinner reservations.

-Nicole’s POV-

“Why won’t you tell me where we are going?” I asked for the hundredth time. I knew we were going shopping but for what and where?

“Because.” Louis chirped.

“Because why?”

“Because I said so.”

“Would you both stop it. You sound like two little kids.” Liam yelled. Me and Louis both fake pouted. “We are here.”

We all jumped out of the van. We stopped at a huge dress shop. “Let’s go!” Eleanor yelled. We all ran inside.

“Pick two dresses” Liam announced.

“For what?” I asked.

“For a premiere and a dinner date.” Louis said again joining the conversation. Liam was shooting him glares but I wasn’t sure why. I had a feeling I shouldn’t ask any questions so I just walked away.

I found a short gold dress right off the bat. It was simple but stunning. It had jewels that wrapped around my waist and it even came with matching high heels.

“Hey Nicole? Come here.” I heard Danielle and Eleanor yelling from across the room. When I made it to them I saw they were holding a long red dress that touched the ground. It was very tight down to my waist then it puffed out. When I tried it on I felt like a princess.

“Liam you can’t buy this for me!” I yelled at him.

“Why not love?”

“Have you seen the price?” I was so stunned it cost so much.

“Yes. What’s the problem.” He smirked at me because he knew he had one this time.

Liam linked arms with me and Dani walked out. Louis came out a few minutes later with her dress.

I know its been so long since I updated but between school work, band, jazz band, and trying to stay social I have had no time.
