I told her/him not to go drinking again but did she/he listen to me.

I talked to myself like I usually did as I searched for my now extremely drunk friend.
"Y/F/N!!!! COME ON MAN!!!!"
I continued searching before I realized I was near the woods.
We had been told not to go there, apparently a group of people, who kidnap young boys and girls who never ended up coming back used to live in those very woods.
But like everything that the old people say, its probably just a fake myth.
So I decided to check in there as well, anyway
Although I believed it was false, I was still second guessing myself for coming inside, it was more darker and scarier inside.
OK maybe they're right, its better to be safe than sorry.
I turned around, about to leave but then
"Well, well well....What do we have here?" Said a deep voice while a dark figure started immerging from the shadows.
