Chapter 17

"B-blood?"

"I-I need to heal, a-and to do that I need b-blood. So wha-what do u say?"
He asked me while looking up at my eyes with his weak ones.
Jin had told me vampires could manipulate humans into doing whatever they wanted. Like your will was slipping out of your grasp.
But Taehyung didn't seem to be doing that. I could still feel my freedom of choice.

He was letting me choose.
Again.

Could I trust him?
He came here just for me...he wouldn't just let me die...would he?

"T-Taehyung please don't hurt me..." I said while giving him my wrist.

"D-don't worry, I-I won't do anything bad. OK?" I could tell the life in him was running out.

He held onto my wrist tightly, circling it like a snake would.
He bought his lips up to met my hand.
They were ice cold.

A slight pressure came, at first, but then suddenly out of the blue, a sharp pain.
I could feel his fangs slide into my skin with ease, causing me imense pain. I let out a lould scream, I bit my lip, hard, trying to control the pain.

Taehyung immediately stopped.
"Are you OK? Do u want me to stop?"

"No its OK... I'm just not used to it...if u need it u can keep going"

He looked into my eyes for consent, I nodded slightly to confirm.

He bit in again, around the same area, it was more painful this time, I bit my lip harder, I felt blood in my mouth but I was too focused on the pain.

I struggled under his grip, but tried not to, to show that I was giving him my consent, but I couldn't help it.

After a while he stopped, releasing my hand.
While Taehyung sat up quickly, looking more energized than I had ever seen him.

I was so dizzy and my body felt weak. I fell to the floor I was lying on, no longer being able to hold my weight. Expecting my head to hit the ground I closed my eyes tight.
But instead, I just felt a pair of cold hands, catch my head. I whimpered.

"Shh..Its ok, it'll all be OK, trust me. Do you want me to take you to our home?"

"Mhm" I said faintly.

"Close you eyes." his voice soft and gentle. My body listened immediately. It must have been the compulsion. Those were the last words i heard before, I fell into a deep state of slumber.
