Chapter 12

The Questioning

She brusquely went to the prison cell as Solomon and Eaton were following her from behind. As they were approaching the door that leads to the prison cell, she saw Alpha Slade was about to open it but he stop after noticing them walking toward him.

"You're supposed to be in the shift ceremony" Alpha Slade asked frowning at her.

"You're supposed to be in your room, resting" she replied back. She folded her arms in her chest. "I thought I was the one who's going to handle the questioning."

Alpha Slade crossed his arms in his chest too - imitating her, trying to annoyed her and it was working.

"Eaton!" She said roughly as she glared to Alpha Slade.

Eaton jolted after hearing her voice. "Ye-yes?"

"Who ordered you to tell me that I'm going to handle the questioning?" she asked without looking at Eaton.

"It was Alpha Slade who ordered me." She growled angrily. "It w-was re.. really Alpha Slade's order" Eaton stuttered in fear. It was his first time to hear her growled with anger. "Alpha Slade, tell her" he said to Alpha Slade begging to help him.

Alpha Slade just looked at her as she looked back at him waiting for him to avert his eyes away from her. He chuckled lightly and shook his head making her frowned.

'What so funny?'

"I didn't expect you to comply in my order knowing that the bond was already broken" Alpha Slade said with amusement in his eyes.

"Bond?" Solomon asked as he went to her side completely forgetting that he was there.

"Yes, I bonded her life to me" Alpha Slade nodded making Solomon frown in confusion. "You see, the bond will only be broken the moment she found her lifema-"

"Stop!" She gritted her teeth, she's about to lose her patience. "Finish that sentence, Alpha or not I'm going to painfully kill you right here, right now" she warned him.

"Watch your tongue. I'm still your Alpha" Alpha Slade grinned.

"You're not my Alpha the moment the bond was broken." She spat. "So don't make me do something that can cause the downfall of your pack"

Alpha Slade raise his both hands as he surrender but the grinned was still glued in his mouth.

She sighed calming herself. If she can list all the annoying people in the world, Alpha Slade would be the number one in her list.

The idiot was enjoying this and she refuse to give him more entertainment. "So am I the one who's going to handle the questioning or you?"

"I'll handle the questioning since I don't want you to mess my prison cell and filled it with the foul smell of blood." He said as he turns the doorknob to open.

Well, that's true. Every time she handles a questioning, the prison cell turns to slaughter house. Blood is everywhere staining the four corners of it. The prisoners were mutilated to the point that it was beyond recognition. The foul smell of death and rotting filled the prison cell making other prisoners sick. It was Eaton who was responsible of cleaning her mess in the prison cell.

"But since you're here and I guess the shift ceremony is finished" he said before entering, "you should come with us. I need your presence there" he stopped and looked at her through his shoulder. "But don't make any unnecessary movement while I interrogate the prisoner"
