We've been on the tour for 5 days now. I feel like Steph's been avoiding us, especially me. But I got to admit it, I think I have a crush on her. I know, I know. It's wrong to date your band member, and best friend sister. Plus, she'll probably wouldn't want to, but I just can't let the feeling go.
We're now in the dressing room. Steph wasn't here, she said she wants to be alone on the tour bus. I went to Luke and asked him to tell me about Steph, because there's no way that she'll tell me by herself. "What do you want to know about her? But there's things that I don't know if I can tell you, because Steph will probably go crazy." Luke said.
What I want to know? Everything! But I can't tell him that, then let's see...
"Well, like, why is she so closed up? And why is she avoiding us?" "She wasn't always like that, ya know. When we were kids, she was the most happy, crazy and fun girl ever. But when our dad left, something happened to her, something changed.
Flashback Luke p.o.v-
I woke up from someone jumping on me. I groaned and started hitting her. "Get off of me Stephenie!" I yelled at her.
Me and Stephenie are the closest brother and sister you'll ever meet in your entire life. We're always together. We're in the same class, the same bedroom, the same afternoon activities. We are inseparable.
"Come on Luke, wake up! We have school, and if you won't wake up, we'll be late. And... I smell pancakes." She says while (still) jumping on me. I sigh and say, "Fine." She finally gets off of me, and throw my clothes on me. "Go get ready, I'll wait for you." I got ready, we grabbed our bags, and went downstairs, laughing. Once we went into the kitchen, our smiles faded.
"Mom!" Stephenie dropped her bag, and ran towards mom. She was crying. Ben and Jack were conferring her. And I just stood there, not understanding what's going on. "What happened? Where's dad?" Stephenie asked, stress out. Ben took us Stephenie and I to the living room, and told us everything that happened. He told us that mom and dad had a fight yesterday night, after we went to sleep. When she woke up, dad was gone.
After she heard it, Stephenie ran upstairs, so I ran after her. She sat on the roof, where she always sit when she's upset. I sat next to her and hugged her tight. She cried into my shoulder. We stayed there, and talked everything out all day long.
End of flashback
"Wow" I said. "I never knew that's what happened." I looked at Luke. Mikey and Cal were listening too, and we all were shocked. I knew that their father left them, but not like that.
"Yeah, Steph took it really hard. She was very close with our father. Her heart broke. Anf since te, she has been like this. Closed up. She didn't trust almost anybody. Until she met Darren, he was her boyfriend. She loved him, she was in love with him. But he also broke her heart. Now, she can't trust anye, except her family and best friend." Luke said quietly, looking down.
I was speechless. My heart broke just from hearing the story. She have trust problems, that's why she's avoiding us, me. But I know that if she'll give me the chance, I can help her trust again.
