C/N'S POV

"He doesn't like me, so cut it off." She said, her voice sounded so defeated. It pains me to see my bestfriend that way.

Hearing her like that made me want to punch this guy's face in.

"How are you sure?" I asked, I was annoyed at how blind he could be, Y/N is... Amazing and she doesn't deserve to feel as if she's not good enough. No one should treat my bestfriend this way.

What she said next made me speechless,
"Would you like me?" My bestfriend's voice sounded from the other side of the phone, her tone so sweet yet sad.

I didn't know what to say- what to answer-- what is she trying to say?

"See... not every guy would like me." Her tone was bitter,

I didn't mean to make it sound like she's ugly or anything, I probably offended her.

"H-Hey! You know I'm not into anyone." I said in defense,

"Exactly." She said and the line went silent

I stared at my phone and tried to comprehend what was going on.

What did she mean by "exactly"?

I felt as if I shouldn't bother her at the moment, so I decided to take a shower to ponder about it all.

YOUR POV

I twisted and turned in bed, it's been an hour and he still hasn't tried to talk to me, I felt relieved yet there was this slight feeling of dread

"Maybe I shouldn't have said that." I groaned as I thought over my actions, how stupid can I get?

I decided to text B/F/N,

I think I messed up.... :

Not even a minute had passed and I heard my phone ringing, it was B/F/N

"GIRL WHAT HAPPENED?" she screamed from the other side of the phone

"I might have indirectly told C/N that I like him..." I said dragging out the last part,

"What's wrong with that? I mean if he acknowledges your feelings won't that be a good thing?"

"No. It's bad! You know him! He doesn't like anyone.. I don't want to ruin our friendship."

I heard her sigh

"Look... If he really values you and your friendship then you'd still be friends even if he knew, and what if he actually likes you?"

"I..I don't know.." I said and sighed, I'm not sure if I'm even ready for it..

"If you're too scared to take the chance, who knows when the next one will be?"

"I'd rather there not be any." I groaned

"Snap out of it Y/N! Where's the feisty you? Where's it gone?" She said sass
