Toxxics POV

I leaned my head out of my old, black, Chevy as we scoped out the city of Monroeville, just a few blocks from Blood Bath ,but they were like two different worlds. Blood Bath was dull, apart from the murders and random robberies. Monroeville also had a couple of murders here and there, but it was blossoming with life and light.  Frost absolutely refused to let me drive MY truck, because " I drive like a fucking maniac."

"Uhg....." I groaned as Frost drove slower than a seventy-year-old woman with narcolepsy. " Uhhhhhg!" "Shut the fuck up! Je-sus!"  She said, as we pulled into a comic book shop. I smirked.

"Make me."

"I will!"

"Oh really?"

" Toxxic, don't make this weird."

"Its only weird if you make it weird."  I wiggled my eyebrows suggestively. She pushed her palm to forehead and pushed back  "Perv..." She said as she hopped out my truck. I just let out a laugh.

" You know you looove it!" I sang as I twirled around like a ballerina in the parking lot.

"Psh, whatever.." I twirled around and bumped into a wall-like structure. " Ow." The wall things arms moved out and caught me before I hit my head on mirror of my truck. Wait, walls don't have arms! "Ahhg!" I jumped up, still in the arms of the demonic wall-creature. I looked up to be face to face with not brick, but skin. I realized it was a man, not a wall. well thank god for that...I dont need some damn wall creatures ruining MY night!

"Whoops.. sorry guy."

"Not a problem...beautiful."

The man had skin as white as mine, with jet-black hair down to his neck, mostly covering his face. He had these odd, mesmerizing hazel-green eyes, and a small, adorable, almost pointy nose. So all in all, he's fucking hot. Did he just call me beautiful?

"Err, thanks?" I was honestly lost for words. But something didn't feel right. I felt almost...scared. My heart was beating a little faster because he hadn't let go.

"Again, not a problem." He smiled at me with perfectly straight, white teeth. He let go and I stumbled, but didn't fall. " Heh..bye..." I shot a smile and hurried inside to find Frost talking to our friend Mia, A.K.A Rain. Yeah, I have friends who work in comic shops. Be jealous.

"What took you so long?" Frost asked, holding up an old edition of Spiderman

" I fell in the parking lot, and I thought you hated Spiderman?" I gestured to the issue she was holding. " Hey Val, she was just telling me how whiney Peter Parker is." She explained. "Ah." I nodded.

Mia stood at a mere 5'2 , with shoulder length, dark red hair, and a blonde/white streak lining her side swept bangs. Her light brown eyes were surrounded bye black eyeshadow .She was pale, like me and Frost, and wore a black Nirvana shirt with black skinny jeans. Her lanyard hung around her neck, swishing back and forth as she walked around the store, organizing comics. " Is Madison working today?" I asked.

" Yeah, and again, no first names! Unless something  serious is going down." Madison A.K.A Shadow walked out from the back room with a big box. " Oooh! Whats in there?!" Frost asked excitedly.  " Some old comics and shit." I laughed as I heard Shadow curse.

"Aww! What happened to my little goodie-two-shoes?!" Rain cried, almost falling off the small ladder she had brought out for stacking books. Shadow giggled. "Don't worry! Shes still here!"

Shadow , unlike the rest of us, was the girl-girl of the group. Her orange-brown hair hung in tight ringlets down to her waist. She had a small braid in the front and put it behind her ear. Her glasses layed in front of her intense dark brown eyes. Her tanner, but still pale skin fit perfectly. She wore a floppy, see-through, gray and pink striped shirt with a white tank-top underneath with blue jeans and a lanyard much like Rains. She is also the more innocent of us, but , like Rain and Frost, she wasn't  ' innocent' if you know what I mean.
