SAHAR CALYPSO is a tall, curly-headed, sixteen-year-old with rapidly deteriorating eyesight when her mentor sends her on a journey to find a baby.
Master Yoda lays in his bed, with the covers pulled up to his chin. For a moment, Sahar feels almost fortunate to be half blind – her teacher had never been this weak, and she didn't particularly want to see him in such a state. If even the greatest could fall, then what was destined for the rest of the galaxy?
He, through throaty coughs, informs Sahar of a baby – one who resembles that of her master; though, of course, much younger than he is.
"A child, you must find," he explains. "In need of your help, they are."
The girl is somewhat surprised to hear of her newest mission. She expected something with a bit of mass – perhaps even something dangerous – but what she has gotten was the exact opposite. She has always been the best in her class despite being mostly blind, and she's more than certain she has proved her worth to Master Yoda. Yet, the task she's received makes her wonder if she should've done more to convince him that she was born to fight.
