Third pov

(Y/n) walked around a bit on her own. The boys were hanging together doing something. She wasn't sure what but David gave her money to go play some games if she wanted.

She had and now she was bored. Which meant it was time to go back to her brothers.

She found them with another teen. Tall, brown hair, pretty much the type they'd might try to initiate if he turned out to be interesting.

(Y/n) could see how he looked at them, and she could see the desire to follow her brothers. She stopped before he could see her, though David and the others still could.

David always knew where they all were so it wasn't a big surprise when he motioned for her to come over.

She ran past the startled guy and hugged David before moving beside Dwayne.

The boys hid snickers at Michael's reaction to (y/n) scaring him.

The teen herself just gave him an innocent smile. "Hi, I'm (y/n)."

Michael had obviously been startled by her. Something he now felt a bit embarrassed by since she looked to be twelve, maybe thirteen. Younger than his own brother. But still, there was something sharp in the way she smiled at him. He mentally smacked himself, she was just a kid.

David, not even needing to listen to his thoughts, smirked. The hesitation was there in his eyes, even if it was for a moment he'd seen something that had briefly put him on edge. Not that David could blame him, his little sister was very much dangerous for the unsuspecting. Though he was impressed Michael picked up on it. Star hadn't.

"This is my little sister, (y/n)." He didn't give more of an explanation, instead going for their bikes. "Meet us tomorrow night if you're still interested in hanging out with us."

The boys chuckled as they shared looks Michael couldn't see.

Only (y/n) took a brief look back to give him another small grin. Mostly to see if it would make him turn away. If it did he wasn't worth keeping around.

Time skip

The next night Michael had showed up. Much to their delight.

David had edged him on to race with them back to the cave, where Star and Laddie was (not that the newbie knew that). He'd nearly went over the cliff.

It was probably a mix of fear and anger that made him punch David, but the blond only smirked. He'd taken the bait and was showing more and more promise.

(Y/n) glared daggers at the back of his head until Dwayne put an arm around her and ruffled her hair. She relaxed slowly until she didn't look like she wanted to kill Michael. Instead she went over to David to quietly check on him while they went down the stairs.

David just ruffled her hair and sent a thought to her head. "I'm fine."

They took the last jump into the cave, Paul, Dwayne and (y/n) went around lighting the barrels so the new guy could see, they didn't really need it themselves.

(Y/n) turned to Michael. "Welcome to our home."

This one will have a part 2 that follows the same storyline. This one does follow loosely on the last one though, just pretend this one is a few days after she was grounded.
