Scarlett's POV

Scarlett: I'm friends with your daughter, Jenny, and I wanted to see how Sammy was doing, Mind if I come in?

Alpha Dereck: oh no, I'm sorry

I go inside and to the left is the living room where Lucas is, shirtless sitting on the couch, he still hasn't noticed me yet,

There's a corridor in front of me and to the right is the kitchen where nobody is there's people in the closest room to me and I walk inside, Alpha Dereck behind me, I walk and Sammy is lying on the bed, Shirtless with his waist patched up but some blood still visible

Scarlett: Was this a rogue attack?

I ask Alpha Dereck quietly enough for nobody to hear me but Apparently Lucas did cause he looked at me and put on his dress shirt from the suit that he was wearing at the party, he only buttoned it a few buttons so I could still see his chest

Lucas: We think so, He was here alone with his babysitter since he didn't want to come to the Party, his sisters didn't either so they went shopping, Jenny stayed behind to shop for shoes but Alexis came home and I guess she spooked the rogue because when she came in she found Sammy on the floor with that claw mark on his chest bleeding, His babysitter outside head ripped of her body

Scarlett: I'm sorry she had to see that, Is everyone here?

Lucas: Yeah, Alexis is in her room keeping an eye on Sophie, our baby sister, Jenny is with Sammy in his room with Mom

I nod and go Into Sammys room, When Jenny saw me she hugged me and sobbed a small sob into my neck, so I led her out of the room and went into a room that was empty and sat her on the bed

I sit down next to her and I hug her and let her sob into my neck, after a few minutes she calms down

Jenny: Scarlett, I ruined your dress
Scarlett: it's just a bit wet, it's not the end of the world
Jenny: still it's a beautiful dress, here I'll give you something to change into
