Firey and the others dragged themselves through the woods until night set and they put up camp, but while they were trying to fall asleep, the sound of a guitar made them all look out their tents, and lo and behold, Leafy was singing and playing the guitar, with a triangular piece of her missing

"Lay down your heads in your warm and cozy beds, and if I'm dead before you wake, don't go thinking that I have fled, for this world cannot contain us... we will go places we've never been... but know that I'll be here, if you return to find me again..."

Thinking no one was there, Leafy left her spot while Firey immediately packed up his stuff and went to follow her, making the others of his squad do the same, at least they knew she was alive...
