Savoy found a bloody shirt discarded in the mud and he knew who's shirt it was. He immediately called his boss that was up in D.C., Harold Attinger.

"You better have something good." He snapped when he answered the phone.

"The girl's hurt bad. She had one shot in the arm and one in the back and I just found a shirt that's covered in blood." Savoy replied calmly.

"Send that shirt to the labs right away for analysis. This might confirm what the bots told us." Attinger ordered. Savoy waved somebody over and the shirt was put in an evidence bag. "He won't take her to a hospital, hell he doesn't have the medic anymore." Attinger spat. "Keep looking for any side stops that have a lot of medical supplies in hand and send out a description of the girl too. We need this girl in our hands now." He said before he hung up.

Elisa hadn't moved from the bed when Optimus started driving. He kept checking on her and she was still breathing normally, but her bleeding hadn't stopped and he was running out of bandages. He didn't have a choice as he finally went to a side stop and went inside. He got food, medicine, bandages, needle and thread, and pliers. He left quickly and got on to another dirt road before finally stopping for a while.

"Elisa." He called out. She let out a quiet moan as she opened her eyes and smiled up at him. He helped her sit up and looked over her back again. He let out a deep sigh as he rubbed her shoulders.

"Sire?" Elisa asked nervously.

"Elisa...I have to try and get the bullet out." He said gravely.

"Why? You said you couldn't." She asked nervously.

"You're still bleeding and I can't just keep watching you bleed out like this because you're not healing." He insisted. "I know this is going to hurt, but I want to help the best I can." He said with a shaky voice as he grabbed the pliers. Elisa buried her head in the blanket and then quickly grabbed the pillow to muffle her screams. He grabbed her shoulder to try and block some of her pain. The instant the pliers touched her flesh Elisa let out a scream of pain into the pillow. He slowly started to push and grab at the bullet and she spasmed in pain. He had the bullet, but when he started to pull it out Elisa suddenly jerked away from him and the pliers dropped to the ground. Elisa withered away from him crying in pain. Taking no chances he grabbed her and pulled her into his body hard and without hesitation grabbed the bullet and yanked it out with all his might. Elisa passed out in his arm and he gently laid her back down on the bed. He worked on her wound and stitched it up as best as he could. He put a tank top on her and saw down in the driver's seat in thought. He gazed back at Elisa's sleeping form and let out a heavy sigh as he realized the next few days would be rough.

As he kept driving he checked on Elisa several times, but she didn't wake up. The bleeding had stopped and she was breathing normally. When she did finally wake up she didn't talk to him for the longest time.

"Elisa are you alright?" He asked cautiously.

"I'll be fine." She nearly snapped.

"I'm sorry I had to do that, but I had to get the bullet out." He said gently. She didn't respond and turned away from the front seats. She laid back down on the pillow and easily fell back to sleep. He figured she had to be angry because of the pain. He wasn't going to argue with her and left her alone. She did wake up again a few hours later and put on some shorts before slowly getting into the passenger seat and patting the dashboard.

"Sorry, but it still hurts." She mumbled.

"I understand." He said sincerely. She was dozing in and out of sleep as nightfall arrived. Optimus decided to stop for the night. Elisa woke up to a stiff back as she cautiously got out of the truck and did some stretches. It was then that she heard the buzzing of the dragon fly drones.

"Optimus!" She shouted as she scrambled inside the truck. She was barely inside when the bullets started flying. Optimus sped off into the dirt road, but he didn't get very far. Something hit him hard and it wasn't a human weapon. He had no choice but to transform and toss Elisa into the woods as he got up and started shooting. Elisa hesitated and it was then that she saw another bot and it looked like he was a con.

"Lockdown." Optimus said gravely.

"It's been a long time Optimus." Lockdown said amused. "I don't intend to stay on this planet any longer than I have to so you're coming with me." He stated before he fired at Prime from a small gun on his wrist. Optimus dodged and started firing as he started to fall back. Elisa scrambled away from the fight as gunshot riddled the ground around. Because she was so weak she didn't get very far as she was hit in the back yet again with another bullet in her shoulder. She fell to the ground groaning in pain and heavily dizzy as strong hands yanked her up and it registered to her that she was being carried somewhere.

"Elisa! No!" She barely heard Optimus shout her name as she was dropped into the car and she passed out.

Elisa was still unconscious as Attinger entered the room. Through his glasses he examined the condition her body was in. The bullets in her body had been removed and treated properly. She had fluids in her arm from the surgery and Attinger was actually ready to give her a meal when she woke up. She was tall and her body was mostly muscle. She had long red hair with blue highlights that might have been considered dyed by any normal person, but Attinger knew better. Blood tests confirmed that Elisa was not human even though the blood had human elements in it. Long ago, his asset, Lockdown confirmed that dragons did exist on their home planet, but they were getting rarer by the second. When Attinger told him that Elisa could be a possible dragon he gave him a device that would help, "put the beast in it's place," as he put it. There was one thing Attinger was will to admit.

Elisa was a beautiful woman.

She groaned in her sleep, but didn't open her eyes as she didn't wake up. He had to smile to himself at the rare find that was lying right in front of him. The problem now was trying to get her to reveal herself. Optimus had managed to escape yet again, but Lockdown said that he was mortally wounded and wouldn't get far so surveillance was everywhere now. After looking over her for a bit Attinger left and went back to his office to see if anything had turned up, but so far there was still nothing. He gave his partner Joshua Joyce a call and he got excited when he heard that Elisa had been brought in. He nearly jumped out of his chair when they told him Elisa was awake. Naturally being frightened she was huddled with her knees close to her chest and clinging to her blankets when Attinger came in. She knew she was in trouble when he came into the room. He was wearing a suit. Guys in suits were bad business. He gave her a polite smile and she nodded back at him respectfully. If there was one thing Elisa learned it was to respectful, even to your enemies.

"You're the boss aren't you?" She asked nervously.

"That I am." He answered. Not only was he wearing a suit, but he had a deep smooth voice and he was tall. That just made Elisa more nervous as she knew he was a man of power and he wanted her power too.

"May I ask what your name is?" She asked. He was surprise at her politeness, but wasn't going to take it for granted as that was rare from an enemy.

"Harold Attinger."

"I'm Elisa...if you didn't already know." She said quickly.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you Elisa." He said with pride.

"Where's Optimus?" She asked nervously.

"He escaped, but he won't get far. If we can find the other autobots, and we have, we can find Prime." He explained with pride again. Elisa looked down at the white blankets unsure of what to say. His side of the bond was weak and she knew he had to be wounded badly.

"Why did you kill my family?" She cried quietly.

"They brought their war here and cost us millions of lives. We won't tolerate that anymore." He stated firmly.

"Where are they? What did you do with their bodies?" She asked a little louder.

"Sent them off to be destroyed." He answered darkly. Elisa refused to let out sob, but tears ran down her face.

"They didn't mean it. They're only trying to help." She whimpered out.

"That's precisely what I'm trying to do." He nearly snapped. "I am trying to defend my country so that no more human lives are lost. You should understand that." He said firmly.

"I'm sorry, but I don't. I don't know what it's like to try and protect one's home. I only understand trying to protect the people I love." She said confused and pleading.

"It's the same thing Elisa. We're both trying to protect something we love...and perhaps you could help me with that." He said getting closer to her bed. She looked up at him nervously, wishing she could slip away. "If you cooperate with me then perhaps I won't have to hunt anyone else. I could leave them alone and they can leave me alone, but only if you cooperate with me." He suggested strongly.

"What do you want?" She whispered. He kneeled down to the bed so that they were somewhat eye level.

"There's a rumor going on around you. A rumor that says you're very special to the autobots for a very special reason. I need you to confirm that rumor for me." He said a little too kindly for her liking.

"I...I...I'm sorry, but I can't do that." She said fearfully and braced herself for a blow, but it never came. Attinger wasn't going to go to those measures for a while yet. He didn't need as he knew she was fragile enough and she could slip at any time. He only nodded before he stood up and she looked away from him afraid. He walked away and went to the front of the door and looked over her again.

"I have a friend that's going to stop by later, perhaps you'll like him." He said calmly before he walked out the door. Elisa let out a bitter sigh of relief as she leaned back into the pillows to try and relax her body. Before he retreated to his office, Harold asked for someone to give Elisa some food.
