Being Lied To Hurts (chapter 3)

I freak out as everyone looks up, and suddenly I disappear into the leaves, cloaking myself in the shadows. Another trick of the Shadow bloodline.

I sigh again, and slowly climb back down to find that Kai had been knocked out, and was lying on the ground. The other three people were surrounding the tree, as I figured that out the hard way. I was soon knocked out, and disappeared with Kai.

When I wake up, I am back in my house, and Viana is next to my bed. I try to sit myself up, but wince in pain. She pushes me back down, carefully. I notice she's saying something, as her mouth is moving, yet I can't hear a thing. I think she noticed my confusion, because she laid her head on me, and started crying. She lays there, until our father came into my room. He says something to her, and she gets up. Before she walks out, she turns to me and smiles. She points quickly to a makeshift bed, and leaves. I look towards where she pointed, and saw Kai lying there, unconsious.  I slowly get up, and walk over. She looks really cute, even though she has blood stains in her short, blonde hair. She seems to be waking up, so I walk back to where I was before. I open my mind to allow my wolf to speak with me, and she runs around in circles until she is out of breath.

Mate! Mate! Mate! You're in the same room as mate!

You don't mean-.. Ash, I don't think she likes us how we like her...

B-but... She's our mate..

And I'm not denying that, I'm just saying that she might not like us back..

Please.. Don't reject her.. She's the one this time..

I never plan on rejecting her, Ash.

I block her out, and find myself staring at a now awake Kai.
