David's POV;
Wake up ,wake up ,wake up ,wake up ,wake up it's Christmas!!!!" Natalie practically yelled in my ear as if she was 5 years old.
"I'm awake, merry Christmas love" I replied.
"Merry Christmas what did you get me???" She obviously isn't the patient type.
"Nat calm down let's go eat first I'm hungry"
"Ooookaaaaay" she said with an annoyed tone.
We ate some pancakes while Natalie stared at the presents underneath the tree.
" I'm done can we open gifts now?"
"Yes you can finally open gifts now"
I had got her a whole bunch of small little gifts and she did the same for me she looked so happy and I loved that for her.
"Thank you David I love you"
"No problem Nat love you too and thank you for my gifts"
"No problem she smirked and kissed me and I turned red because somehow she still does that to me.
"Wait I have one more gift" I said as I went into her old room which is just her closet now and grabbed a box.
"Here you go merry Christmas I hope you love it" she tore off the paper as fast as possible and opened the box at the same time a cute little golden doodle popped out and started licking her face.
" awwwwww cutie David I know you didn't actually get me a dog thank you thank you thank you" she started to cry tears of joy which then made me choke up. She played with the dog for a little bit and then put it down so it could relax. She hugged me and whispered into my ear thank you so much Dave I love it so much and I love you"
"I love you too but now you have to take care of it" she rolled her eyes. Even though I really didn't want a dog I knew how much she adored them and really wanted one. And sometimes you have to take a risks for people you love even if it means just getting a dog that you will probably end up taking care of.
