"I want to take you somewhere." I said after releasing her lips from mine, moving my hands to the small of her back. "Where?" she asked before grazing her fingers down my arms. "It's a surprise!" I smiled and she gave me a look. "I think you'll like it." I smiled again before placing a soft kiss on her lips, lingering there for a moment as she wrapped the tips of my hair around her fingers. "You're lucky you're cute" she smirked before running her hands down my sides. "I'm not cute." I protested. "Yes you are." She grinned "No, I'm sexy and hot and... mysterious." I squinted my eyes at her. "That too." she cocked her head side ways and kissed my cheek.

"Laurennnn" The brunette beside me whined as I turned onto the dirt road. "Where the hell are we going?" she huffed in frustration. I turned my head to look over at her briefly, our eyes meeting. "We're almost there." I said as I saw the destination ahead.
"Where?" she pried again, this time taking a different approach by rubbing her hand down the length of my thigh. "Well would you look at that, we're here" I smiled as I pulled up in front of the woods, the trees blocking where we're headed. I started getting out of the car, unbuckling my seatbelt. "Come on." I told her.
"You brought me to the middle of nowhere?" She asked after shutting the passenger door. "Just follow me." I said, grabbing her hand and leading her towards the woods. I made my way through the trees, crunching leaves and branches under my feet to make a path for Camila as she followed behind me, still holding my hand. I guided her through the few rows of tress before we stopped in front of a hill.
"Come on." I said before beginning to climb the small but steep hill. "Ugh." she rolled her eyes before following behind me. I reached my hand out to assist her after stepping on the graveled, flat land. "You're really making me work for this aren't you?" she said in annoyance. "Yep." I smiled before carefully pulling her up to stand beside me. I wiped my hands on my pants before pointing to the row of abandoned and rusted train cars that sat to the left, covered in graffiti, the first two cars were incredibly damaged due to the accident that took place a few years back involving a silver mini van that still laid on its side, mangled on the train tracks.
"What happened here?" she asked while clinging to my arm, she looked a little scared. "A few years ago, a guy named Cory Grier committed suicide." I said before linking my arm around her shoulders to ease her tension a bit. "He went to our school actually, he played on the football team. His parents were pressuring him to get into Yale, his little brother had just died from cancer and I guess it was just too much for him..." I trailed off before walking over to the empty train cars. "So he drove his car up here, parked on the tracks and waited for the train." I finished before looking down at her. "That's really sad." she said, looking at the ground. "Yeah, but..." I said as we stopped in front of the fourth train car. "A lot of his friends came here after and decorated the train." I said, unwrapping my arm from her shoulders and slid the door of the car open, revealing what was inside.
There were white Christmas lights draped around the entire thing, there was a couch that sat next to a record player that sat on top of a black plastic box that was full of records, new and old. There was writing that covered every inch of every wall, some signatures of the people that had been here, some lyrics to songs or just saying that came to mind. There was a guitar leaning against a small table that rested against the wall, a few bottles of alcohol sitting on top of it. Blankets and pillows were scattered across the floor. Candles littered everywhere.
"This is amazing." she gasped before stepping in the space and walking directly over to the box full of records. "Why'd you bring me here?" she asked insecurely. "I don't know... I just... I thought you would like it. It's okay if you don't, we can leave if it's that bad." I rambled as she walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my neck, bringing my eyes to meets hers. "I love it." she mumbled against my lips before kissing me softly and a wave of relief washed over me. "You do?"
"Mmhmm." she nodded before taking my lips in hers again. "Do you bring all of your girls here?" she smiled and I smirked against her lips at her choice of words, implying that she was my girl, a deep chuckle escaped my mouth. "I've only ever brought one other girl here before and I definitely didn't feel the same way about her as I do about you." I said honestly before dropping my gaze to her lips.
"Really?" she asked.
"Well yeah. You're just different. Normally I see a girl I like and I just want to fuck her and leave her, but you, I actually care about you. I like seeing you smile and When you're happy, I'm happy. I hate seeing you upset like it actually hurts me, especially when I know you won't let me do anything about it." I said and she placed her hand on my cheek, rubbing it softly with her thumb. "Sometimes I think I care more about your feelings and your happiness than mine. I don't know I just- I really fucking care about you and I want to see you happy, I want to be the one that makes you happy." I look her in the eyes, trying to read her thoughts. "You do make me happy." she finally spoke. "I know that I'm guarded sometimes and I know that I don't always show it but I haven't been this happy in a while and it's all because of you. You make me feel like I'm worth something, you make me feel beautiful-"
"You are beautiful" I cut her off and she smiled, making her look it even more.
"That's what I mean. I don't have to beg you to treat me well like I have to with... other people... You make me feel special and no one's ever treated me they way you do." She said.
"Why won't you break up with him?" I asked genuinely curious. "It's really complicated. I moved here to live with him, I literally begged my parents, of course they weren't very supportive of the idea... or him so I just left. Without saying goodbye, without telling them. When they came home and found that I wasn't there and neither were all of my belongings they decided that they didn't want anything to do with me, they said that I was ruining my life and I guess they were right." She sighed before looking down. "I can't leave him yet Lauren, I'm too far into this, into him, I have to do this right or else everything will fall apart, including us." She said vaguely.
"Do you want to be with me Camila?" I asked. "Of course I want to be with you Lauren, more than anything." I almost laughed. "Then from now on we're in this together, the both of us." I rested my forehead against hers. "I can't promise you that Lo.." She said sympathetically. "You don't have to. I trust you." I said.
I was being completely honest. I did trust her with everything I had in me. I wanted this for the long run. I wanted her.
